I keep a simple first aid kit on both bikes but no sticker. Good thing I never had to use it.

Purchased one for about $78.00 for my Road Star. Will install at my next oil change. I have heard good things from those who have it. Will find out myself first hand shortly.

May have a virus on your pc. Don't know your system model but this is one way to restore your system: "You may not need to have recovery discs to perform a System Recovery. The recovery information is contained on a partition on the hard drive. Recovery discs are necessary in case the recovery partition is not functioning properly. If your computer originally came with Windows 7 or Vista, turn on the computer and repeatedly press F11 to access the recovery information on the hard drive. If your computer originally came with Windows XP or earlier, press F10 to enter recovery. For more information about System Recovery, see one of the following HP Support documents."

I agree with you on this but in reverse. Love the look of the RSV and hope to have one in the garage beside the Ultra.

According to their website this morning they are booked. But I am sure they will have a few come available as the day goes on since plans change and some may have to cancel.

Harley touring versus venture
tibadoe replied to Bobcatpat's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
I definately wouldn't say he is a wrencher. Changing the fluids is all he will do. We all get a good laugh out of it since he gets someone to service his mower but he will do the oil change for his bike. I told him I will change his mower oil and he can change the oil on my HD! -
Harley touring versus venture

For me I think it is more challenging since you have more chances of leaks when pulling and reinstalling the derby cover or side check/fill plugs. (I hate oil leaks) You have 3 holes to fill/drain. More chances of stripped hex bolts, cracked o-rings, etc. I like the simplicity of my past metrics when all I had to do was pull the drain plug, remove filter, refill and I was on my way. On the other hand my brother in-law loves doing the service on his HD. I guess each persons confort level is differenct. -
