Congrats on the newest addition!!!!!!!!

If you put visors over the lights, they might be whistling. I put a pair on that had small holes on top, once I put the solid Yamaha ones on, it stopped.

WAY TO GO EVERYONE WHO DONATED!!!! I just need to know the date and place for the event. I'm REALLY going to try to make it. Probably gonna have to drive the cage down, but it will be my small sacrifice.

Come on folks. It's SOOOOOOO close. I know money is tight but think of the good we can do here. Please.......for everything good we do here, St Judes does many times more.

Good for you guys!! Glad to see things turning around for you.

I usually change the oil so that theres less settling of residue, and put it on the battery tender. Not sure about the draining the carbs thing. I'm by no means a mechanic, but I feel that leaving them full of treated gas reduces the chance of condensation or rust. Any one of you more mechanical types feel free to pipe in here/

Same here, I love my vent. I use my stock shield in cooler weather only because its taller and blocks more cold air but I wouldn't and couldn't do the long trips we do without the vent.

Water Pump Knock??

Just started reading this Scott. If you need a hand, give me a call. Mechanically inclined as I am, I can run for coffee or hold the dumb end of the wrench. I'm off this weekend, trip to New Hampshire is gonna be a washout. -
do NOT apologize!! We care and updates are good for ALL of us. Keep your chin up, this will take time until fruition.

Looking a little more in depth, there are a bunch of things they're not saying, seat height, weight size etc. I don't think I like the 2 speakers too, as I remember the sound system was a little weak. The CB used to be standard until I believe the 95 model then they stopped putting it in. All in all, I kinda like the look, I'm going to have to see and sit on one, hopefully get a ride before I make a final decision. I don't think it's enough to get me away from my 05, but who knows, if Yamaha doesn'tmake any changes by the time I'm ready to replace her, I'll definitely give her a good lookover.

that is AWESOME Cindy!! And that smile on H's face says it all. I only wish I could have been there.

I had a 97 Voyager, got rid of it when I got the RSV. Leg room was definitely an issue on the Voyager (I'm 6'2). Seat sucked big time and I'm not a fan of the frame mounted fairing. But I'm definitely going to look at it when I'm ready to go to a new bike.

promised I'd fill ya in on yesterdays happenings

My feelings are, if he did this once, he's probably done it before, so that little boy might have experienced something if he was at that house. And I would bet that once it gets out in the public eye, more victims might start talking. As for your VIS, what I do when I'm writing something emotional is to write it all, let it out..don't hold back. Then let it sit overnight and go over it, editing, deleting and re wording. Not only does it make a better document....it helps me vent and I actually feel better. Just my 2 cents Still here for you guys -
now THAT was funny!! I needed it too

Come on folks, this is a great cause and it will only take a few bucks per person to get us there. 5, 10 or 20 bucks from a bunch and we will be there.

Good for you Bob. I am getting ridden by my Dr that I definitely need to lose weight or face some problems down the road. I'm currently mentally gearing up for that and I'll take inspiration from your story. I'm not in need of the surgery yet, but I need to make alot of changes in my eating and exercise habits. Good to hear how life improving it can be. Best of luck to you.

16000 on the 05 and still the original rears, fronts were changed at about 5000 because I smoked them (long story). I'll be changing mine over the winter.
-
the heck with pics...I think once you guys get it down pat, you should do a demo on a willing volunteer's bike at Dons next year........say........oh............maybe a nice silver 05......I might know where to find one.........
-
