    I hit the limit on mine last year, winding road in the rain about 35 mph. Scared the living poop out of me and everyone behind me. Pushed me clear across into oncoming traffic. Somehow I was able to downshift and accelerate out of it. Don't ask me how. My buddy riding behind me saw it bottom out on the hitch. That night I ordered the swivel from the hotel, it was waiting for me when I got home. Won't pull a trailer without it again.

    This weekend I ran into my Blue Knights Chapter at a charity run, I haven't had a chance to ride with them much in the past few years. Boy was I surprised to see a bunch of Ventures in the crowd. One of the guys has a 2000 red RSV, and he has the Krome werks exhaust on it, boy did I fall in love when he started it up!! I dont think Im even gonna trry the HD exhaust that's waiting in my garage. Anyone know where I can get the best deal on them??

    Glad to hear you're relatively OK Chuck, definitely get that shoulder looked at. I'm not even taking the bike out this weekend because of all the idiots out there.

    Thanks for picking up the ball on this.........Sam and I are definitely interested if work schedules will permit, so as soon as we get a date we can give a definite answer. as long as the Kabins have ac and private bathrooms, we're good to stay there, we're kinda funny that waym(Noo Yawkas, ya know)

    I will be getting my Clearview in a week or 2 and can't wait. I've noticed a dead spot in front of me and the vent will really help. Also, my wife experienced alot of buffeting on the trip to Don's and I really hope the new one will solve that. Never saw the JC Whitney one.

    I didn't read that section of my owners manual........I'm pretty big on changing every 3000 miles, so that's what I stay with.

    Sherry, my only advice to you would be to wait til things even out before making any decision. You are still in shock over this whole thing as are everyone around you. I would refuse to talk to any lawyers or insurance companies for at least 2 more weeks. I don't know what any statute of limitations may be, but it certainly can't be less than 30 days for notices of claim. Once things have calmed down, sit down with the kids and make a mutual decision, then do what you feel is the best thing for everyone involved. Hope this helps a little

    I replaced mine after 2 seasons too Larry, now I have a Battery Tender,we'll see if it lasts any longer. If this one goes, I'll definitely look into the Odyssey

    I have the Yamaha ones, saddle bags and trunk, we love them. But the ones on Ebay look exactly the same but without the Yamaha logo.

    Great bracket Larry.........I don't know how I would have mounted the horn on mine, but no way would it have looked and fit as well.

    Ummmmmmmmm I put the helmets in upside down. I always have a rag of sweatshirt in the trunk, so I don't have to worry about the bottome scratching it.
