List for maintenance day; 1) Hotel reservations - too early - they're not accepting (grrrrrrrr) 2) List of things to do and bring (no trailer so no clams - sorry) 3) Reserve CHEESECAKE!!!!! 4) Remind wife to stay away from pond just in case that 'creature' shows up again 5) Wife wants to start packing now so we may be a bit early (is May too early?) Think we're looking forward to it?

Oh Don..........Gotta love ya...spent the last day pouting that I couldn't make it on the 24th or the 31st due to family commitments.........June 7th is the best day for us.........YAY!!!!!!!!! Now if we can only get the same deal at the Oberlin Inn.....dont remember who set that up but it was a great deal.

depending on my schedule Memorial Day weekend might be OK, not sure about my other half's though, thats a busy time for the ferry. Travelling on Friday might be a bear but when is travelling through NYC not a bear...........

Maintenance Day is held at Don's (Freebird) house in Ohio. It's a great time to either do minor maintenance on your bike or watch and learn while others work on theirs. Mostly we just meet each other and have a great time. It's a great time.

I know he had to put longer cables when he switched over because I brought them to him. Scott (Tartan Terror) was able to get them for him, but I'm not sure exactly what they ordered. Don wasn't able to get them where he lives but Scott was able to get them through our dealer here in NY.

I wouldn't mind having my 9MM a little more accessible but I have a 10 year old. She's pretty good about not touching anything and I've always had it available to show her if she has any questions, but its always locked up safe Just in case. My wife has the combination to the lock box and it's always one number away from being opened.

when it rains it pours, 4 bikers killed on Long Island last weekend......bunch more hurt......... get to work this morning and find we had 2 bike accidents this morning, one looks like the guy hit a deer, one of our officers found him on the side of the road (under the bike)..no idea how long he'd been there, no deer found but they found hair on the front of the bike. Local guy, I kinda knew him, did the tile work in his kitchen a few years ago. Other one hit a deer about 6 this AM, not hurt too bad but the bike is messed up. Another local, don't know if I know him or not yet, didn't get his name. These darn deer are getting tough man...............

bought my house in 94 for 150,000......remortgaged last year, appraisal was for 500,000..not a bad investment, BUT...yes ....a BUT.the market is for poop here so good luck selling it. Lotsa houses for sale..not many buyers...... I'm sure it will improve by the time I'm going to sell....but we'll wait and see.

I have the Nelson Rigg, wore it in all weather and it's awesome. Might go for the Frogg Toggs when I replace them but they're so darn funny looking hehehe

I'll check the State Law but Kit is right, municpalities have the right to enact certain regulations.they cen't circumvent them, meaning they can't make things that the state says are illegal legal. I'll let you knw but I'm not back to work til Sat. -
I've gotten a few of these and send them right to Ebay or Paypal, whoever the email says it was from.. Of course then I reply to the email with a few kind words.

Good for you, never smoked so I never had to quit, but everyone I know who has quit say it is the hardest thing to do. But stick with it, and remember your support team...family co-workers and of course US. Good Luck!!

if you do alot of riding in the rain and less than optimal conditions, looking through the windshield can be extremely difficuly. If you're a fair weather rider, looking through the windshield is fine. Personally, we ake alot of trips for several days at a time and ride no matter what the weather so I opted for the medium Clearview with the vent. I love it. Now that its getting cooler, I'll be putting the stock one on for more protection from the wind and cold.
