Ouch Ouch Ouch!! We are SO glad you could walk away from that relatively unscathed. Someone DEFINITELY had a hand on your shoulder.

Dan, After 22 years of working around the clock, I finally gave in and quit those darn midnights. Never did get a good system of sleeping. SOmetimes, I'd go fight to bed when I got home on the AM, sometimes, I'd wait til 3 or 4. Always felt like crap and struggled to make it to quitting time. Lost the 3 tour night differential, but I think it's well worth it. Good Luck.

Geeez.don't sign on for a day and look what you guys go and do!!! Brad and Lonna, I am SO relieved that your injuries are as relatively minor as they are. Being a clavicle injury survivor, I know it's not an easy road ahead but if that's the worst of it, I consider you lucky. I just wish we were closer so we could be some help. We love you guys and hope to see you soon. Vin and Sam

For those of you who went the IMS show in your town, is it me? Or was it a disappointment? Went to the show at the Javits Center in NYC yesterday. I went to look at several different brands, BMW and Victory mainly........I'm glad I went because I was severely disappointed with them, RSVs? I really don't like this years colors. Harley had the most appealling bikes and I'm ot really a Harley guy. Vendors were boring too.

Lewis, Have had family members with both of those issues. Dad's chest pains scared the poop out of all of us, it was actually a relief to find it was "only" a gall bladder issue. The operation was actually not that bad, he was out of the hospital the next day and back to work a week later. Cousin's wife dealt with the stenosis, had the therapy and did well with it. Hopefully in a few months, this will just be an unpleasant memory. Hoping for a quick recovery for both.

Nice job Dale. My Dad built something liek that for my little sister when she was about 10....still has it at 40 and NO ...her kids can't go near it. She still has it set up.........(I think she sneaks down and plays with it when everyone is asleep..hehehe)

I just wanted to wish all of you a Happy and Merry Christmas. Haven't posted much on here lately, but I HAVE been checking in a few times a day and I think about all of my friends here often. Been busy as heck with stuff going on (all good stuff) We're planning what has become our traditional quiet day at home with the family, our folks, the kids, my son's brand new fiancee and her family. Seems that since we've started doing this, I enjoy Christmas so much better. Hope the day is special for all of you too. Vin

I'm really not liking you too much right now..............

I would trust Don to clear this up...he is most diplomatic and I'm sure there will be a resolution.

Hope you're feeling better soon Don!

I'm interested but its a bad time of year with the holidays around the corner. Maybe if you still have them around Feb...........

Noticed that too, just haven't had time to post it here.

Been to a few of them, we always stayed at the Holiday Inn in Rutland Vt. About an hour away from Lake George but they have a special for bikers, about $90 a night, they set up abike washing station, and its a nice ride to Lake George. Always a good time and always spent too much money at the vendors.

Wife won't have anything BUT a real one....we also have a 3 foot wreath over the fireplace....get one special made every year. Sam and I started a tradition of having Christmas here so the kids are used to coming over, my parents, her parents, anyone else who wants to stop by. My son just got engaged so his future in laws are invited and will be stopping by. More the merrier.

I've had a lot of good luck with Holiday Inns but don't use anything there that isn't disposable. If we use the coffee maker, my wife washes everything first.

I hope you mean a trailer to put the bike on. If I didn't have a trailer for the bike...you wouldn;t have had those clams at Don's last year.
