Sorry to hear about that Dave. I know that when I took mine off last year to put my mud flap on, the screws were pretty loose so now I check them regularly. I only hope that whoever took it sees this and has a case of conscience and sends it back somehow.

Any decent seat pads out there that work ???

Dan...what size did you get for yours? I'm interested in getting one fo those. -
I've had my antenna under the fairing for over a year and it works fine. I've ridden all directions woth no loss of signal except for extreme overcast or alot of foliage covering the road but nothing lasting longer than a few seconds. I used double faced tape and mounted it right on top of the radio.

WANT TO TALK TO ANOTHER BIKE w/o AUDIO
VTirelli replied to TESchoener's topic in GPS, Audio, Electronics
I had the same set up for my Voyager. Took it off when I sold it and had it sitting in my garage for 3 years. Gave it away 3 months ago...sorry, I woulda let you have it. It worked well except the headset was kinda cheap. I used the stock antenna since I only used ot when group riding. -
Great..............ANOTHER reason for me to be PO'd that I couldn't make it to Skid's..........stupid job

Sam and I will be riding down to Ocean City Md towards the end of this month for a few days. I used to go down there once or twice a year as my ex's parents were from there but it's been 15 years or so. Anyone have any suggestions as to what to do? We're planning on Asseteague Island for a bit (Sam wants to see the ponies), but mostly lounging on the beach in front of the hotel, which is right on the boardwalk. Friends say Hoopers is a must go to restaurant, as well as Phillips Crab House. But we would be interested in any 'local sights' that few tourists know about.

Darnit Jeff!! We're about 2 hours away from there and would have LOVED to see you guys again but its the holiday weekend and we're both working......we'll try next time

We were planning on going to Nova Scotia this year on our annual trip with our riding group, but had to cancel due to everyone else having other plans and major work on the house this year. I was really looking forward to it as I've heard how beautiful it is up there and great riding. We are still planning on the trip, just don't know when. If the group can't make it next year, I think we will just go alone. Night life won't be as fun but the scenery will be just as nice. I love Canada, been to the Niagara area a ton of times. I was actually thinking of 'defecting' there when I retired. We live on Long Island, NY which is about a crappy 2 hour ride to get off of before we can go anywhere, unless we take a ferry over to Connecticut and ride north, so our options are limited too.

We're thinking about you and Jeannie JT.........friend of mine's wife went through the same thing, she was crying about it one day when he told her "I didn't marry you for your hair......you will always be beautiful to me" Made her weepy for a week.

I got the Cordura bag....it looks nice but it's not as big as the bag that goes into the trunk. Good enough to hold the miscellaneous stuff that won't fit in there. We usually pack our chaps, a couple of sweatshirts and a few other pieces that won't fit into the trunk or saddle bags when we take our long trips. Not crazy about the velcro straps they use to secure it to the rack so I also put one of those spider web straps on it. Also comes with a rain cover and has a few pockets but it was worth the money.

I think it was Scott Kalitta who was killed, saw a vid of the wreck and it was terrible. A guy I work withs father was at the track and saw the whole thing. He thinks he was knocked out when the blower blew so hopefully he didn't suffer. May he rest in peace.
