Just got my new '09 RSV last friday. Love the bike, even with th e few small delivery/set-up issues (Missing passenger intercom cable/connector)!! It's a real upgrade from the VTX I also own. I'm looking forward to "meeting" all of you here on the forum, and hopefully in the real world as well.
Here's the question. I've seen a few threads that refer to "passing Lamps." I assume those are the same thing Honda riders call "Highway Lights." The small, but very bright additional lights on the front of the bike either above or below the turn signals. If I've got that right, let me ask...
Are these something I should try and install myself, or is it better left to the service dept. to do for me. Also, with the Honda, a modification was necessary to allow these lamps to work with the Headlamp operating in High-beam mode. Is this true with th RSV as well?
