Added another video. This one is a ride around Camano Island Washington. I am not a fan of the music but I didn't want to run into any copyright issues. This video was shot with the GoPro camera mounted on top of my helmet. In some of the scenes you can see the shadow...I look like a "Teletubbie"!! For those of you with grand kids you know who I mean. Otherwise have a great chuckle and Google it! Yes I do. 25 miles one way, mostly on Camano Island and Stanwood. It takes 20 minutes just to get to the interstate from my house and 10 minutes from the interstate to the Casino. Love the ride everyday!

You crack me up! Actually I mounted it on the gas tank. It needs an extension so it's over the speedometer. I have a video with it on the helmet but I'm waiting for approval from a friend of mine (Levi Plateros) to use his music.

OK..New toy and the whine isn't as bad as the video makes it sound. Check the Snohomish County Sheriff (car and motorcycle) after I leave the Interstate. I waved at them and they waved back. Reminds me of my year in Greenland with an Air Force truck. Leave it running with the block heater plugged in, heater in the truck full blast. And don't forget to unplug the block heater is you go anywhere. Don't ask me how I know that last part! silverdeer

Just got mine in the mail. Heard the dogs barking and it was the mailman trying like crazy to stuff the envelope into the mail box. Took a shower because I'm headed for work but decided to take a quick picture of the jacket. VERY high quality! Warm and comfortable! Looks like I'll wear it to work tonight. http://c3.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images02/48/l_e52e6d2e0d1a4ceb87208c420af8670a.jpg silverdeer

Try the MotorKote it should quiet down most engine noise. Those of us using the product are pretty happy with it. Currently looks like 80 - 90% of those trying the product have reported success. silverdeer

One of my co-workers has a Suzuki 900 and we ride home together each night because both of us live on Camano Island and work 3pm - 11pm. We believe in "safety in numbers", all 2 of us. Temps are now in the mid 40's for a couple of hours before we get off work. Anyways here's the question: How long do you warm up your bike before you take off? He says it needs to warm up for at least 5 minutes to allow the oil to circulate. I say that's too much. I figure it should only take a couple of minutes at the most. silverdeer

BINGO BOOMER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Amazing how the media will cover 5 protestors outside Ft Lewis but never provide coverage of PGR, Brothers In Arms, American Legion Riders, and Combat Vets, showing up in large numbers as volunteers for the passing of an American hero, a send off to those going into harms way, or for those returning to the arms of their loved ones. silverdeer

Best we could do was "The Wall" escort and news coverage was non-existant. A local person posted what he had on you tube. He was told where to be at what time...we were 15 minutes ahead of schedule because of the 80 + mph we were traveling at. There were about 500 bikes, he was only able to catch the last pack. Any pictures/video posted that you know of? As a PGR member it would be great to see that type of turnout. silverdeer

Do you know the differance between Lorena Bobbit and a weatherman? When Lorena says there will be 6 inches on the ground by morning, we can believe her! silverdeer

My tires feel squirrely around the low 40's. It gets that way at night around here. I ride almost every day to work. I work from 3pm to 11pm. silverdeer

I saw summer. It was here last week on the way to visit fall, summer said "bye - bye". Pretty soon the mosoon season will start in the PNW, not lots of rain but endless days of cloud cover, drizzle, and boredom. Guess it's almost time to work on those delayed and forgotten projects caused by the RSTD. silverdeer
