  1. OK....I went to five (5) auto parts stores and ended up with 1 replacement bulb rated at 12V 35 Watts. I like to replace bulbs in pairs if there is no visble damage to the one that still works. Seems to be a shortage in this part of Washington state for 35 watt bulbs. Any problem with using the 55 watt bulbs?
  2. Sad state of affairs. I pray not only for the family and friends of the motorcyclist, but for the camper driver as well. I read some of the comments at the end of the story and it seems many folks are blaming the camper driver. The article states that the biker flipped the "bird" to the camper, went around the camper, and then slowed. The article clearly states: "The cause of the initial confrontation was unclear, but investigators believe the motorcyclist intentionally slowed in front of the motor home, Uhrich said. There were no other vehicles that would have made the motorcyclist slow to avoid them, he said. It alsmost seems the motorcyclist tried to scare the camper driver with a bit of road rage, but failed. In bike vs camper/car/truck/bus/etc....the larger mass vehicle will often win. Shame is the biker died and that in itself is very, very sad.
  3. EXCELLENT VIDEO! The only bad thing about the video is the fact that I now have to save up for one of those helmet cams, and the wife says I'm getting too many toys ( ) Also, too bad it rained as you went up Mt. Washington. I have been up there several times and it's been poor weather each time, but then again, Mt. Washington is home to the worlds worst weather. I checked out your other videos and that was the deciding factor on saving for the helmet Hero wide with the handlebar adapter.
  4. I think most of us usually hit 150 miles and start to look for a gas station. 172 miles would be just about right.

  7. I just returned from my first 500 mile overnight trip on the RSTD. 25 miles into the ride the left side passing light went out. I wasn't worried because it was just the light. When I got home I took the light apart think it will be a simple bulb change. But I can't figure this one out. Picture 1 - The light is out. Picture 2 - Back side of the light Picture 3 - The bulb??? Question - Does the entire headlamp get replaced or just the glass part in #3? The actual light bulb seems to be soldered to the copper colored fitting and blue wire.
