Greetings, I own a 95 model ext cab XLT. IT has the 5.o in it. It has 101,000 miles I have been to Memphis pulling my sons Cavalier also I have been to Denver Colo several times I live in N.M. outside of regular wear items brakes, filters, etc. I have not had any trouble with it. I do change oil every 3000 mls. It still has original startor and alt. I hope this helps.Good luck. bossman:080402gudl_prv:

On a related note,when I was on my way home from Kansas in August, I was stopped at a gas station this fellow pulled up on a fairly new wing, we got to chatting, he asked me what year my bike was I told him it was an 86 model .He wanted to know if I had a hard time finding parts, I told him I dont know, in:cool10: the 2 years i have had bike I havent had to buy any yet.

Greetings, Popeye I was up in your neck of the woods a couple of weeks ago. Went up to Kansas City K. Next time i head up that way Ill give you a hollar. I plan to head up to Las Cruces next weekend Ill see if it is still making the noise when I get back.

Greetings, I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction. I have a 86 Royale. I have been noticing lately when i goose the throttle their is a rattleing noise seems to be coming from underneath, or when I am going through the gears I hear it also. Checked bolts, fluids all ok. It is more noticable on the left side. Other then that it runs fine. Am thinking of going to Las Cruces in a couple of weeks . I was wondering if it is something I should be concerned with or if it could wait till I returned. Thank you . bossman:confused24:
