The wife started walking early in the summer,20 minutes a day. I recently started going with her. I do feel better, as in my job I do not get much physical activity. Clothes are starting to fit better also.

Battery that was on bike was about a year old. but stranger things have happened. I was glad that that was what the problem was. Learned something new through. bossman

Question reference 2000MM Venture
bossman replied to wasabe58's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
Greetings, I believe it should be the last 3or 4 # in your vin #. It is is inscribed on the frame . Turn handlebars to the left you should be able to see #. Or there should be a sticker on the trunk, outside back. -
Ill take one. RSV at the bottom part of buckle if possible. Thanks bossman:thumbsup:

I do thank you all for your replies. Took bike in to stealers today of course bike did not make noise while they were riding it trying to hear said noise. I do not have a jack for lifting bike up. Do have a stand on the way which will help. At least I will be able to have tire off of ground and be able to rotate by hand hopefully be able to get better idea from where noise is coming from. I did look at washer did seem to be right way. I was hoping to be able to put bike up on rack at stealers but all racks were full. You think with me buying bike there they would of have been a little more cooperative. Oh well!!!!!!!!!!!!

Greetings, I am not sure if this has been covered before. I have a 2000 RSV. Went out for a ride this afternoon did not get to the end of block and I could here a rubbing noise from the back axle.it was not constant but with every turn of the tire it faded in and out. I was wondering if any body might have any ideas what it might be???? Oil in axle is fine. thanx..

Hey I sure do envy youall. Sounds like a good time. Depends on which route you take if you deceide to come through NM to get to Carlsbad, I say that because you can go through Lubbock TX on down to Carlsbad. But If you deceide to come this way I live in Portales, Give me a hollar If you need a place to spend night no problem. I will even see if I can convence mama into making some tortillas and a fresh pot of beans and chile. My # is 575-760-4877 till 3:00 and 575-356-8102 after that. Larry.
