The day came and now gone, we had a most wonderful service. Almost 200 folks attended, the weather was balmy (28 degrees) lotsa sunshine. I just want to take a moment and thank all who offered support in thought and prayer on this site. I've watched over and over the caring outreach on every thread that has ask for same like moments. I myself having replied, never thought I would post likewise but doing so sure made our day. Michelle managed to celebrate her birthday with the largest gathering of family and friends EVER! She's just fine! Of course it goes almost without saying, should you be passing our way, (central Minnesota), we're easy to find, please make a stop, we appreciate you all! Thanks to all of you, Eric & Jean, Wally, Randy, Ken and especially Margaret (had so much fun W/ you on the site) Jim T. Craig, Rick, Midnite, David and Lonna,,, Bubber (my friend),,,,Don for everything, (you know!).....I've not had the priv. of meeting you folks but,,,,OH,, so special you are! For some, a mother-in-law may not be your fav but mine was special, I loved her and she me. It's gonna be hard seeing Michelle crumble.....especially since it's her birthday tomorrow.......I'll hold her up with your support....Thanks! Renne

Thank you Gene! Our thoughts and prayers are with you and yours also. I just hope folks will read up on COPD and it's effects,,,maybe somehow we can encourage others to shy away from smoking. It's a terrible long helpless conclusion to one's life! Thank you, Renne

I'm relatively new to the site and immediately felt a sense of "family" here. Although I tend to "josh" a lot and poke fun, there is a serious side and I'm dealing with that tonight. My lovely mother-in-law's funeral will be tomorrow. She passed last Friday from COPD, an insidious nasty consuming fate of which I hope never to have to be witness to again. Michelle, my wife, a firstborn and I were with Mae every day for the past 17 months. We did all we could to make her comfortable although we knew the inevitable. Please pray for us tomorrow as Michelle not only celebrates her own birthday but lifts her mom up. Thank you all,,, Renne

I couldn't agree with you "more" ( Oh Lord!) I got the where and am ok with that ...as for the who and why,,,well,, of course! Who would not and if so why would be the operative word as to why not? The when is as soon as possible to cancel all the iff's. Without the iff's we have "NEXT".....see isn't that easy? Margaret,,,,bless you! Next is easy, wait, no it's not, it just is, self explanatory,, next,, maybe not, but could be depends on if it is. One might have to wait but that's something I don't have time for. Actually,,ta-da! "Next" "IS",,,,,good grief imagine that? Right here on VRO we did what all the political pundits failed to do.....WOW,,,we defined "IS". "Next is etc etc".. I can breath again! "It" is easy,,, I cling to the "Munsters" and cousin "It", a "someone" and that should take care of that problem, "it" is "It". Case closed. Now, the matter is if "it" was "Is" as the political pundits would have it ,,it would be a travesty to the "It" fan world and therefore change the whole concept as "Is" could never be "It",,not even close!. The matter of "Is" and whether or not either "It" or "Is" meant the same thing was lost in the void! They wanted us to believe "Is" was "It" but that was never proven. Now the "If" matter is another story,,,,if you can see where this is going, maybe we can agree? Renne

As I scan the "watering hole", I keep seeing threads for things such as large and improved polished fork "wind" deflectors and keeping the "wind" off your knees deflectors and windshield squabbles on height to stop the "wind" and more! I just wonder, Whatever happened to the idea that on a motorcycle the whole experience is "to be in the wind" to smell the fresh air when you pass a pond or lake, to smell the fresh tilled fields and burning autumn leaves. Fresh cut hay and fields of clover are ever so pleasant. There's something to be said for the breeze on your skin,,,in your face.... It seems a shame to hide behind full face helmets a windshield, knee guards and fork deflectors all trussed up in designer "wind and water repellent" riding suits!,,,crap,,,if I wanted to be so isolated from the "wind" I guess I'd just as well cage it, but then,,,,I'd miss that unmistakable "sound" ! OH YEA I LOVE "THAT SOUND",,,,,,,,and,,,,,,,,,,"THE WIND" ,,,,, (It sings if you listen)! Renne:backinmyday:

Removing your "foofa-valve" should have the same effect as swapping out your stock muffs with RK's which will no doubt eliminate the clutch whine at the same time. This mod will also improve aspiration which will lead to inspiration with anticipation of the elimination of indecision relating to lubrication pessimism. "Why" is a mouse when he bites"?
