  6. So if I get this right , I'm cheap ,and I'm used to trying anything new , I'm retired and got some friends ,that could give me a hand I got tools and a long winter so ,,,, Yesssss!!!!! I can do this ,the part about tennis balls gives me ideas so to protect the rims .So here goes , for the next couple of weeks I will be in the shop changing tires and making parts , will be posting pics .   7. well decided to change both tires , How hard is it to remove tires of the rims .I want to take them of and change them myself and have them balanced at my repair shop.Any special tools needed .

  12. Thanks for the info , but the wal-mart around here only sales automotive oils in small quantities ,,,, it's probably the smallest wal-mart in America ,,,, I can get the mobil 10W40 for the bike at Canadian tire only wanted to make sure .so here we go man up here it's
  13. I want to go synthetic ,I can get mobil 1 for motorcycles near my place , witch one would you recommend the MX4T 10W40 or the V-Twin 20W50

What I like most of being retired ,in the summer waiting for every body to leave for work so that i can ride in peace and in winter time is standing in the window whit a cup of hot coffee looking at my neighbors shoveling and scrapping cars ,,,, me do it later when the sun is shinning . Getting ready to change both tire on the bike .Everybody here seems to go for Avon's tire (Venom) and putting a smaller size on the front wheel .What am I to do my mechanic here says that he had problems whit AVON tires and I don't want to put Bridgestone's on the bike again these are tough but they run hard and have no comfort . So what is the front size recommended .
  23. the saddle bags rails are from Honda Valkyrie. All the others chrome plates on the bike are home made .
  24. finally done and working , located the remote button on the right battery cover in the front bolt hole , I had to drill the nut in the cover to install the switch fits OK and works good .
