Just to let everyone know. Over the next few days, we will be doing some housekeeping and deleting the older, and out of date threads. We have threads going back to 2006, and most are no longer germane.

Have you considered PC-7 Epoxy Paste. Had excellent results in repairing a saddle bag lid that had a chunk missing from it.

If anyone is in the area on Saturday, Jan 12, 2008, will be meeting with Ron (KanTornado) and Linda (Navigator) for breakfast at the Coffee Cup in St. Paul. As they are moving to Nevada, this will probably be the last time they are in MN, unless they have to come back to sell the house. So, any of the MN members and the WI members who are close enough to make it, as well as anyone else who just happens to be in the area, please feel free to join us. The Coffee Cup is located on the corner of Rice and Arlington in St. Paul. Nice little biker friendly restaurant. Great food and even better prices. Hope to see a few of you there.

Duck tape and a BFH and you're back on the road. Now to the serious stuff. If you can get me the tire and rim, I can take a look at it and see what we can figure out. Heck, that's what I do for a living. "If it burns, breaks or blows up, we can tell you what, why and how it happened." Just from what I can see in the pics I have a suspicion of what happened.

Hey Brad....... Just had a brilliant idea (now you know you're in trouble) You could tell your insurance carrier you want to keep the scoot. Then bring it to the Pork in the Pines as the annual project bike. We could rebuild it........ :stirthepot: Just enrolled in a Welding Course at the local CC. Would be a great excuse for me to buy a new welder.................

It seems that every year, more things seem to slip past me..... Must be that CRS thing. So, if I could get everyone to print off the below attachment and stick it on their fridge, I wouldn't have to be concerned about slighting anyone any more. Thanks much. I know I can count on you folks.......

Hi Dagget, Boy, for a first time poster, you really came on board with a doozer of a question. You say this is/was a project bike and you have changed out the rear plugs several times. Have you also done the Seafoam treatment? I would suspect that you probably still have the factory original spark plug wires. So, the first thing I would do is replace the spark plug wires. You can either make your own, or purchase a set of ready mades. Then, the next thing would be to tune the carbs. Not quite sure where you are located, but with any luck you may have a member close to you that has a carb tuner and can work with you on getting the carbs tuned. I'm sure other's will be jumping in here shortly with some other suggestions, but right off the bat, these are what I would be considering. -
