If I remember correctly, it was from the CHP...

Congrats... You are going to love the new2u ride. There are a few of us on this site that have the Virago 1100....

Reminds me of the story about a kid who was on trial for murdering his parents and was pleading for mercy from the court because he was an orphan.

Old is good. It simply means that you have Out Lived Danger.

Oh great, another source of slings and arrows.....

My daddy always told me, "Don't do nothing in the dark that can't stand the light of day." But then, on occassion there are have been some mighty dark days...

NO....NO... No... wrong ride Bubber... Sheez, gotta take you by the hand every day...

With all the luck Whoomp has been having upgrading his ride, got to thinking maybe I should upgrade also. What do you think of this? Not sure it would fit on the trailer, but what the heck......

Just replaced all 4 tires on the VentureRanger. I run Ride on in all my tires on every vehicle/scooter, and when the removed the tires, the RideOn was as clean and as fresh as the day I put it in about 3 years ago.

Well Rich, not sure where you read that only use dielectic greae on the rubber boots. Rubber does not corrode. No problem with using it directly on the connections.

So, does this mean we now have to allow Suzuki riders to attend the 2011 Pork in the Pines? We all know how rowdy they get. Just can't have those kinds of activities going on at the Pig Roast.... Just keep it up and I'll be forced to take the Queen off the trailer....

Very nice. Don't know if it has cruise control, but if it does, I would strongly recommend removing the wrist whips as they can cause problems with the cruise control. Other than that, it looks like a real sweet machine.

Before you install a replacement starter swutch, you need to fing out what caused the current problem or you will just end up burning up another switch,

Hey, us moderators have to have some perks... LMAO. And yes, it was great to still have the roof over our heads Sunday night...

The "incident" would have been better explained if he had been a bit tipsy. But Gary does not drink.

Well, we all know the rules. What happens at a VentureRider event stays at the VentureRider event. However, as with every rule, there is an exception. And at the 2010 Pork in the Pines, we had one of those exception moments. And that moment necessitated a site name change for one of our members. From here and henceforth Grandpagak (Gary), shall be known as WHOOMP. Those in attendance are more than familiar with the event prompting this change. So, I will leave it up to Gary to tell the story, if he so decides. WHOOMP, it's your choice. :rotfl: :rotfl:

Well, I'm finally home. Guess I should have followed Bubber a bit further. Got to just past Brainard when the sky's opened up and it started pouring down. Got so bad I pulled into a rest stop to wait for it to blow over. Rain on the roof and the heater blasting away was a bit too much for this olld guy. Eye lids started getting heavy and woke up 45 minutes later. Still raining like a cow p...ing on a flat rock. Waited it out a bit longer then gave up and headed out again. Guess Gary needs to be a bit more specific when he puts in a weather request. He asked for dry warm days for the PIP. But he forgot about the nights. This had to be the coldest it has ever gotten for the folks camping at the PIP. Of course, being the "Chef" I was forced to sleep in the cook house so I could be up bright and early (okay, at least early) to get the coffee on and breakfast started. Couldn't believe them Cannucks wanted breakfast by 5am.... Sure don't understand what them folks sleeping on the ground in their tents was complaining about. I was nice and toasty. Just comfirms the RHIP is great. More details on this years PIP to follow.

Okay... I take back all the bad things Grandpagak said about you. You all right (today). That looks great...

Just a thought here.. Owen is coming up to the PIP out of Texas. Don't know if it would be out of his way, but maybe he could stop by and pick up the seat from BuddyRich and bring it up with him....' Then all you would need to do is get it back to him...

Allan, Tried to call you after getting your Text... Don't really do the texting thing and most definately not while I am driving. But you wasn't answering your phone. Anyway... You looking to buy a replacement or just borrow?? There is a MC Salvager in Jordan, MN. I can check with them and see if they have a seat for your scoot if you would like....

Hard wires good.... Fuses are highly over rated if you use heavy enough conductors. :rotfl: :rotfl:
