  1. Just thought I would bump this up again in the hope that some of the MN folks may decide they have Oct 29th open and would like to come up and give us a hand.
  2. If anyone would like to give us a hand, Gary and I will be having a Pork in the Pines work day at his place to get ready for next year. The primary project will be fabricating a new pig roaster plus assorted odd jobs. So, if you are free (or at least reasonable) on Saturday, October 29th, we could sure use your help. Russell

  14. Jeff, You have a PM
  15. Totally agree with what Jeff said. I have the Miller 110/220 suitcase stick welder. A great little welder, and to switch from 110 to 220 all you do is change the plug. It will do anything you need it to do. A bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. Also have a Lincoln 110 wire feed and oxy set up. Your equipment choice will depend on the type of welding you plan on doing. Most Comm College's offer welding classes at night for the home handyman. That, in my opinion, is also well worth the money.
  16. Not sure about PA. But out here in flyover land (MN) there is a difference between a truck with a 6 foot bed and one with an 8 foot bed. :rotfl:
  17. Glad I wasn't the only one....
  18. Mike, It was our pleasure having you and the lovely Mrs join us at the Pork in the Pines this year. And don't worry about the Chili Vote choice... Every one is allowed one mistake :rotfl:. And how was one expected to compete against those Sin-emon rolls. Dang near voted for Mikes Chili myself, but then I came to my senses. :stirthepot: Looking forward to seeing both of you next year... Again. Thanks for coming
  19. What type of "plastic" are you dealing with?
  20. Jim, From what you describe, wouldn't surprise me one bit if it turns out to be kidney stones. While they can cause excruciating pain, they can be taken care of either with medication or surgery. Either way, I wish him a speedy recovery....
