    I have a set of Jardines (according to the PO) off of my 97 RSTC for sale if you are interested. I had my brother put the original muffs back on, so I don't need the others. I have been told by RoyalStarJac that they don't make them anymore.

    Well I couldn't admit that to Steve now could I? I did scrape both sides on the 650, but only 4 times. Honest! I really didn't think it would happen so soon though. I haven't even gotten on the big roads yet.

    Well I finally got to take the bike for a short ride around the neighborhood yesterday afternoon. All I can say is: DOUBLE MY PLEASURE DOUBLE MY FUN DOUBLE MY CCs AND I'M IN HEAVEN I love it!!! This bike fits perfect. I did kinda scrape the right floorboard on one turn. WOOPS! It was an accident really it was.

    What do you mean??? He's just a pup. 2y4m old tomorrow. he hasn't even bulked up much and he still has the knot on his head, so he's not done yet. He's ONLY 32" at the whithers, his chest is ONLY 48", his neck is ONLY 28", and he ONLY weighs 217#. I don't understand why you would say he's close to doggie-trump.

    Max is a Mastiff and Shiloh is a Bassett Hound.

    You better get up early cause I get off work at 6a and am heading that way. So it better be ready by 6:35a. It can be a bit later but I do need too try to get some sleep since that didn't happen today. And I don't know about overnight stays since Max and Shiloh wouldn't have a way to get out to do their business. Time will tell.

    Yes, I have wanted to grow up and have a 'big girls' bike for some time. And after getting on the Venture it confirmed I wanted one, but Bummer said I should try the RSTC because it has a smaller frame like my V-star or something like that. So that is what I'm gonna try for. He is my big brother so I guess I do listen to him sometimes. But don't tell him that. AND I'M NOT STUBBORN! Thanks everyone for the input and encouragement.     I used to buy toys for my dogs. They lasted less than one day. I now just give them the empty cardboard boxes. Empty pop cases, boxes, etc. They love them. Makes a mess but what killed toy doesn't? This has saved big $$$.

    I have one and she is the most stubborn big dog on short legs. If she doesn't want to get off the couch she will just look at you and won't move, like how dare you disturb me. She is very sneaky too, getting into anything she can reach. She may be short but she can get things off the kitchen counter or dryer or table or..... It took 6 months to get her to not take anything off the coffee table. She still has a hard time leaving paper towels alone. She has a brother (a mastiff) whom she will pick a fight with anytime. Her ears get wet every time she drinks. She likes to burrow under blankets and sleep. I had one before her and I'll have one after her. Love the breed.

    Thanks for setting up the M&E Scott. Bill and I had a great time. It was nice to meet some of the folks here.

    I rode home from work this morning. Does that count??? Saw two bike, but this was out in the country. I'll ride back to work tonight. I'm learning to ride in the rain (twice on back roads) and it's a bit different but I want to do it some more so I can feel comfortable in any weather.
