We have Verizon also and about two years ago we were without internet because they told us they have our DSL account number was assigned to another person and that person closed their account and in turn ours was shut off also. How there can be two accounts with the same number they never explained to us but what a hassle to get reconnected. This took about 20 phone calls and two weeks it was a mess and we really thought about going to cable at that time but my wife wanted it right and to be reimbursed for all the headaches. We finally got two months free and a higher internet speed. But again if it was up to me I would have just went to another carrier and screw them.

Glad your Ok. I came real close to hitting one about a week ago with my grandson on the back and this was in the city early evening. They are really thick in Wisconsin this year so thick I don't ride out of the city during the evening anymore. The DNR will have to do something real fast as more and more people are getting hurt and killed because of this problem. I think one thing they could do is lower the hunting fees and allow hunters to take as many as possible to get the numbers down to a more controllable herd size.

I wish I had known about this about a week ago the wife and I could have made it but now we have plans to be in Ill. and we are just down the road from you! Bummer

I had a car hit one in front of me and the Gator was thrown in front of my bike and I was unable to avoid it and when I run it overt it cracked the lower fairing. But better there then in my face but I was glad it didn't hit the radiator and damage that also.

As a retired Police Officer of 30+ years I carry a Glock 22C my retirement present from the P.D. Which when it was issued to me while I worked there surprised me as one of the best weapons I have ever carried.

I went to Mammath Cave area and made it back this past week a great ride. After a rest up and getting caught up on the chores around the house I will decide on my next trip.

May 18, 2008 just before boarding a international flight coming home from europe. Coming up on a year now and the extra money goes for trips with the extra $3000.00 I have in my pocket. Its hard to believe what I spent over thirty years of smoking 2 packs a day I was stupid. The other little things that have changed in my life also like buying shirts without pockets for the smokes and before leaving the house making sure you don't leave behind your lighter and smokes. The first three days were hard but really not as hard as I thought they were going to be I should have quit years ago. Now all I have to do is get my wife to quit or a least try but thats her call.

I was also thinking about a ride to KY. to see the caves which I haven't been to yet. Let me know when you go maybe we can meet up. Right now my trip is in the planning stage waiting for a little better weather.
