Didn't pay no attention to the hole size nor shape LOL, smell was equal across both, ya know that outdoors smell :-) I take too many pictures, can find the the one a took. But did come across this one when in Japan with no place to set my beer but the floor. ps. it was freehttp://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk100/aharbi/JAP0031.jpg~original

I was part of the flower power generation when "the establishment" tried paid toilets. It was unwritten rule but known to all just go on the floor in front of the door with the sign. It didn't take long for the idea of pay toilets to die. On another note we have a BBQ place that still uses an outhouse, two doors, men & women. However it's a twin hole bench with no wall once inside.

I've dropped mine twice, once with the wife on the back, both times in a gravel parking lot. No damage either time but to my pride :-(

Sounds correct to me as well. Lowest I've got was 28mpg running 80mph into a headwind, beat me to death.

It isn't pretty. Found another body this afternoon as the water recedes. 5 still missing, total dead 19. Most of it due to flash flooding where 10-15 foot wall of water rushes down either a dry creek bed or swells a normal flowing river. Mind you, a river in Texas is called a stream elsewhere. One river rose 40 feet in minutes. Several earthen dams have washed away. Most drownings from heavy rains are from folks trying to cross low water crossings, not this time, whole occupied structures were washed from their foundations (an estimated 60 homes) to float downriver and then be crushed at the next bridge. Several concrete bridges have been washed away as numerous low water crossings. Another storm due to pass thru late tonight. Most that need help have/are receiving it. Neighbor helping neighbor, stranger helping stranger.

Tablet unfriendly forum
aharbi replied to Silverado6x6's topic in Computer help and tips for using this site.
Not saying to use the bluetooth keyboard all the time. I don't recall what the specfics were when I was working with pictures. But I couldnt get it to work with the touch screen keyboard. Worked great when I used the bluetooth keyboard. I don't upload my pictures direct to this site but to Photobucket and then link to them. When doing work I like a keyboard, when browsing/reading the touch screen is fine. I too find myself using tablets more than laptops or desktops. But again for my "real work" (graphics, video, scanning, photographic, programming) I like a real computer with a keyboard. After all a tablet is... well just a tablet and limited. Use tapatalk - it is made for tablets. -
Custom Dynamic LED thoughts

I'm running both. Have for 4-5 years now. No problems, plug & play install lots brighter than stock. Well worth it. -

Get a Bluetooth keyboard for about $35. I believe it will resolve your problems. It did for me, I use an iPad mini, Android (kit kat 4.4), iPhone, Netbook, desktop. -
Nice job, that'll do it!

the pictures were very helpful, thank you. I ordered a set of these and also the front and rear side marker LEDS from your web site. I've been looking for them for sometime now. I'll post reviews for the rest of the team when I get them.

On vacation last summer in Mich I bought my wife and I real nice heavy lined leather riding jackets. I've used it all winter. Also do you see the Pure Michigan vacation commercials they run here in Texas? Each one is difference covering a different part of the state (haven't seen any for Detroit though ) Great commercials, very well done.

We had a wet winter and a wet spring. Now we have spring flowers bustin out all over. It's been several years since we had this many spring blooms. Here is a sample. Many many more to come. I headed south out of Austin to Lockhart taking back roads toward Luling. http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk100/aharbi/2015%20March%20Flowersniffin/DSCN0293r.jpg~original Bluebonnets lining the roadways http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk100/aharbi/2015%20March%20Flowersniffin/P1020662r.jpg~original I stopped to take some closeup shots http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk100/aharbi/2015%20March%20Flowersniffin/P1020663r.jpg~original http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk100/aharbi/2015%20March%20Flowersniffin/P1020668r.jpg~original http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk100/aharbi/2015%20March%20Flowersniffin/P1020670r.jpg~original http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk100/aharbi/2015%20March%20Flowersniffin/P1020672r.jpg~original http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk100/aharbi/2015%20March%20Flowersniffin/P1020681r.jpg~original I turn around and I have company coming to join me. Wish I had some apples with me. But then again I suppose the owner wouldn't want just anyone feeding his horses either. http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk100/aharbi/2015%20March%20Flowersniffin/P1020677r.jpg~original I know I'm getting close to Luling when I see all the pump jacks working and can smell the natural gas heavy in the air. http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk100/aharbi/2015%20March%20Flowersniffin/DSCN0305r.jpg~original I ride past some nice ranches, lot of grass for grazing, lot of prickly pear too! (panorama picture) http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk100/aharbi/2015%20March%20Flowersniffin/P1020685_stitchr.jpg~original Yes there really is a road by that name. I run out of road and head back to Lockhart. http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk100/aharbi/2015%20March%20Flowersniffin/DSCN0306r.jpg~original Nice truck http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk100/aharbi/2015%20March%20Flowersniffin/DSCN0299r.jpg~original Ya know Lockhart is known as the BBQ capital of Texas. I'd like to ride one Of these:
-
Several months ago I passed a guy with handicap tags on his bike. I thought the same - what the heck. Then I passed him and saw the oxygen tank strapped to the bike and the tubing running into his helmet. It got to me, I wasn't prepared for that. With tears in my eyes I gave him a thumbs up - ride on brother ride on!
-
I use two of these. One for my V-Star the other for my 2004 RSV. The RSV fits fine, both end ramps/blocks flip in place. A couple of things to keep in mind, even with the end ramps down the dolly WILL slide on a smooth concrete. So block it somehow so it won't slide. Next the kick stand is longer than the side stand plate on the dolly. Mine reaches the very end where the caster wheels mount. It is not flat on the stand but rests on the edge flange that mounts the caster. It appears stable enough however it doesn't lean as far over, like you have a 2×4 under the kickstand. Sweep your garage floor where you want to move the dolly, the smallest itty bitty stone will stop any of the five double wheeled casters dead.

. I saw your post riding the hill country and thought the same thing. Give me a shout the next time you're headed that way. It's a 14hr day for me to ride out there do the sisters and back. Although I do know of several cheap motels in them hills. Also you may want to join us for the SE Texas maintenance day. I show it as 330 miles and 5hr 30min ride for you.
-
They are also great at splattering bug guts all over the hot engine. I keep them "closed" and use the highway pegs.
-
Full size no vented Clearview look thru windshield with full face helmets all year. Best riding for my pasenger. The Venture is our "two-up" riding machine.
-
Ear plugs or Fuson molded ear phones. Never been happier.
-
That's all I use on two of my bikes. I have three new ones at home. Never had a problem. I'll look at them and post a picture.

Common problem and easy to fix. Those little rubber plugs need replaced. In cooler weather they contract just enough to leak. Till you get the replacement plugs (part numbers & more pics on this forum, do a search on coolant leak) you can put a dime over the plug (use a dab of grease to hold it in place) the dime thickness will compress it enough to stop the leak. You can use the top of a spare plug to thread into the rubber plug to remove it. Mine have always just fallen out. Also, the coolant should be green not brown, I think yours is way over due & needs changed.

Due to the drought here in Texas the price of beef has gone up at least $5 more per pound. Eating BBQ has become an expensive meal.

The weather forecast looked good so I took off on another all day 11hr 500 mile ride into the Texas Hill Country. Here is a screenshot from Google maps of the area I rode. You can see why it's called the hill country. http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk100/aharbi/2015%20Feb%20Texas%20Hill%20Country/topo.jpg~original When I left the house it was a little chilly (40ish) and overcast as I left Austin under the toll road overpasses. http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk100/aharbi/2015%20Feb%20Texas%20Hill%20Country/DSCN0218.jpg~original You may have heard about the speed limits on these toll roads and the roads in west Texas. Personally I think 85mph is too fast. Most deaths have been from single vehicle roll overs and over and over and over. http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk100/aharbi/2015%20Feb%20Texas%20Hill%20Country/DSCN0222.jpg~original From my place it's about a 4 hour ride. It is Sunday and not much is open in these little towns. However I do see a sign in the back of an old pickup parked alongside the road that says "Hot Dogs Today" I found it. http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk100/aharbi/2015%20Feb%20Texas%20Hill%20Country/DSCN0249.jpg~original It wasn't hear the last time I rode RR335 out of Barksdale TX. http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk100/aharbi/2015%20Feb%20Texas%20Hill%20Country/DSCN0247.jpg~original I order a footlong Chicago dog, hadn't had a footlong in must be 30 years. Interesting place. http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk100/aharbi/2015%20Feb%20Texas%20Hill%20Country/DSCN0255.jpg~original I stop for gas, zip the vents closed in my jacket, change my face shield to the clear one. Change to heavier gloves and hunker down for the 167 mile ride home in the dark. A wonderful day of riding, a high of 75 and now an evening ride in the cool. A great day.

No it's not this feature. But it is a problem. Perhaps this needs moved to the proper place. I try to keep picture sizes to 800x600 although I have used bigger and I link to them on my photobucket account. My internet connection is 50MB down 10MB up. I'm about to post another ride report with pictures. I'll take screen shots of errors and better detail. UPDATE: I was previously used the quick reply window. This time I used the "Go Advanced" and all worked well. So for future posts with pictures I'll use Go Advanced.
