I'd be happy too. I almost always get between 35 and 39 mpg, but I'm not much for 55.
-
I love mine, maybe 1500 miles or so now. I do have some wobble above 90mph, but I don't need to be going that fast no how.

Honda 3 R-C, personal electric, concept. I couldn't help it, it was cute.

Perhaps a Burgman 650 or this from Honda - Maybe http://c0378172.cdn.cloudfiles.rackspacecloud.com/honda-3r-c-personal-electric-vehicle-concept-3.jpg

Yeah, we see how that worked out in '08!

And less than 4 cylinders?

Reminds me of me in my youth. Be proud, be very proud. Good luck with the competition.

I too would have to check out the 1200LT.

I just use my $15.00 plastic walmart. Patricia uses the Pro Action and likes it very well.

Good luck with your tournament. If you come through the Utah area and I'm off give me a shout and I'll try to meet with ya.

Don't bet on it. Can you say Cavalcade. http://www.suzukicycles.org/photos/Cavalcade/1985_Cavalcade_Canada_250.jpg

I know I'm getting off topic here but, in my 40+ years of motorcycling the pillow top seats and the Yamaha Venture is the most comfortable bike I've ever sat. I can and have ridden day and night with no discomfort. Now, I will say that after 24 straight hours in the saddle my hips did start to act up on me a bit, but at my age I'm gonna lay off the those hard of rides and stay with in a more comfortable 16 or so straight hours.

Sorry. I wished it away from here, but I guess I did not wish it far enough. Please forgive me. I just wanted it out of here.

I 'spose if we was in England, but we're not. Any way all that head talk is just a bunch of scuttle butt.

Guys, please, go have a drink with Scarylarry and try to hold your heads up and console one another because we all know SEASHELL IS THE FASTEST!

Ride the wheels off the '04 for a few more years then upgrade to a used 3d Gen. I'll have to do the same as my '09 was almost the straw that broke my financial back. And it gives me plenty of time to participate in these "what if's" and what might be's".

I may have misunderstood, but this is the 2010 Sabre: http://lh3.ggpht.com/_xOOWRVc9-a4/S-MJvRmSbqI/AAAAAAAABik/o2B-Vg_nKSI/2010-Honda-VT1300CS-Sabreb-small.jpg Very nice.

I've decided with this bike not to use synthetic. We as Venture riders seem to change oil on a very regular mileage schedule and I don't see the advantage of using synthetic when we're gonna change every 3 - 5k anyway.

I think she's hitched to a loose screw:rotf:, but my prayers for successful surgery and complete recovery.

That's just what I've been saying. Just like Kaw did with the Nomad. It's logical as for some unknown reason people want v-twins. It's crazy and just makes the Wing more desirable to those of us that don't want to downgrade to v-twin.

You may be right. As I remember I told the salesman I was not interested in ABS.
-
I have one and I pull it down the super slab at 80 no problem (8" wheels).
-
Now I don't know a thing about it, but the salesman at the time, told me that the Nav system on the Honda was not that impressive and I got the impression that he was steering me away from that model.
