I'll still be hungry, so I'm in! -
I understand that you can get the Pond Monsters to splash you.

Glad you're ok. Sorry I missed you when I was up in Utah. with the repairs and possible injury.
-
By the way you have to log in using your Google account. That's how I done it anyway. I did not actually see a Venture so I canceled, but it does work.

Hey! Sumpin don't sound right here! All I got from Beer was 3 Walmart bags and they weren't that inexpensive either. They work ok, though. Maybe a little flimsy.

Hold select and reset buttons simultaneously for about 3 seconds and you'll have your clock. The second Gen is indeed a beast that takes getting used to, I came from a 96 Voyager and I often wish for it back, but I really wouldn't trade my RSV for nothin'. Tires make a big difference in handling. I of course run a CT and a Pirelli rear reverse mounted on the front (not for everybody). Dunlop's suck for sure. And Brickstones are even worse I here as I've never had those. I have no doubt you'll get the feel for it soon enough.

I once lost my audio and had to replace the audio fuse up front and the backup fuse behind the seat on the left.

Handling on my Venture
Wanderer replied to rumboogy's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
You know I only have 14000 on my bike but I'm thinking the steering head has really loosened up. I guess that's something we can check out at Don's. -
I was gonna clean mine up, but I figured I could talk good ol' George in to doing it for me at MD Come on ol' buddy what ya think?

Ok, I know better, but it's hotter 'n billy be dang here. So I ride 70 miles south to my dads in the morning with shorts on and my left leg gets cooked. 70 miles back that afternoon, guess which leg loses all it's skin in a couple of days? Ouch! I learned my lesson well.

Sounds good to me. Making your way in the world today takes everything you've got. Taking a break from all your worries, sure would help a lot. Wouldn't you like to get away? Sometimes you want to go Where everybody knows your name, and they're always glad you came. You wanna be where you can see, our troubles are all the same You wanna be where everybody knows Your name.

Better product and better deal in my opinion if you can buy a case - $10.42/17.5oz is FW1 Fast Wax.

OK, I'll go back to the bee thing. Here's what I believe to be true: Deodorants, after shave, colognes, etc are what attracts bees. Hence, my fowl smell at the end of a ride. Just won't use them when I ride.

From Popular Mechanics on Servicing Wheel Bearings: "Keep spinning while tightening. You'll feel the bearing start to bind slightly as you tighten more. Stop there. Now back off the nut with the wrench until you feel that resistance dissipate, and one of the castellations on the nut lines up with the cotter pin hole." I guess I was not totally correct, but not totally wrong either.

I'm in.
-
Thanks Kirby, good double team. I have to be careful though since I'm riding with him he may poison my coffee.

Warm to the touch only. The way to tighten a wheel bearing is draw the bearing down until the wheel will not turn by hand, then back off until wheel turns freely by hand.
