Royal Star 1996-2001 stand # 4NK-27311-01-00 NOTE.. the old part # had a 00 instead of the 01 spring # 90506-29358-00 I just did a google search on the stand number and the site give a bunch of dealers with prices. Expect the stand to go backorder because when this questioned is asked a lot of members run down to their dealers and order the stand. Mine took 10 days to get. REMEMBER... the hole needs to be drilled. I hope this helps Cb ?

I have a 2005 Venture and had the Royal Star kickstand installed yesterday. I drilled the hole from a metric 12 to a 15mm. You also need to order the smaller spring. I also ordered the bolt, nut and bushing just in case the old hardware got damaged in removal. My bike is lowered in the rear (Barons kit) and front forks 7/8 inch. The bike sits good with the new stand. I had my local bike shop do the work and it cost me $40. to have them change it. I got my parts from my local Yamaha dealer, the retail cost just for just the stand is $149.00, on line $98 + shipping. I told my dealer about the $98.00 and he said $100 + tax so I got mine from him + hardware. questions... ? Cb

I have been feeding H/B for about 20 years. I love to watch them buzz each other when one is feeding. Try to purchase feeders that have a place/bar for them to sit on. They stay around the feeder longer. I make my own sugar water 1 cup of sugar to 4 cups of water. NOTE change water every week, if you see black spots that is mold and may make the birds sick or kill them. Simple washing will not kill/remove the mold. VERY LITTLE bleach and a brush will remove the mold AND then wash the feeder with dish soap. If you love the birds you will need to get a humming bird feeder cleaning brush for cleanning the inside of the feeder. I feed about 6 birds and so far there has been 3 different spices. Cb

Hi Dennis, it is really hard to estamate travel times here. I have over 20,000 in 6 years of traveling these roads. Spend some time using the google maps going to different towns using different roads. If it rained hard a lot of southern MO... Norhtern Ar back road creeks flood and they close the roads. The problem is you don't know about the creek untill you get close to the creek and you may need to backtack 19 ? miles to get where you are going. Note : every area seems to have a bad driving hadit... here it is people will see you coming down the road and they will still pull out in front of you (slowly). I have 5 lights in the front of my bike so it's not like they can not see me. I also drive a Chevy 1 ton dullie and they will still pull out in front of me, so it's not a bike problem. If you have driving lights leave them on all the time. I am sure drivers do not like it but when I am on back roads I have my high beam on untill I get behind someone. Traveling 400 miles my be hard, do the google thing and then add a little more time. There have been rides where I traveled for 2-3 hours on backroads and never saw another car. Note : PLEASE.... take your time.... if someone starts to get to close from behind PLEASE pull over and let them go. They are relentless in expecting you to speed up for them. On the other hand you will find a lot of elderly who are scared to death and travel these roads at 35 mph. If a road sign says 90 degr. turn... it WILL be 90 deg. turn. I see from you map you have traveled some, I have travel to 45 states ( not all on motorcycle) and love the back roads. ONE more thing... most back roads are in really good condition, very few potholess. Good luck.....questions ? cb

I traded my yamaha 110 delex for their Supercharged FX. My delux had a top speed of about 50 mph and the FX has a top speed of about 75 mph. I really have to hang on with the FX. Cb

I live in Mountain home Ar and 412/62 travels through town. I road is very good BUT all traffic going east/west travels the road. If you google the road you will that there are not very many roads for about 70 miles north and south going east/west. I like to travel highway 160 in Mo. Less traffic but a lot more country. Every car, truck and delivery van travels this road. around here the road is mostly 2 lane, double yellow with very few passing lanes. It is a great ride but you can not be in a hurry. as traffic can slow to the 30 mph for miles due the other traffic. Also... get gas before you need it... a lot of small town gas stations have closed. If you need something along the way please let me know... I can help with housing and repairs. If you are interested in cycle stores... cycle gadets is just west of Eureka Springs Ar. If you fish Norfork Lake was named on of the best fishing lakes by Field and Stream a few years ago. Local marinas rent pontoon boats by the day or I can take you out with my boat. travel safe Cb

Hyw 62 travels right through my town in North cental Arkansas, Mountain Home. Hw 62 can be a pain in the axx and except to travel about 50 miles per in 1 hour all the way through Ark. It is a 99% 2 lane road with very little chances of passing. It is the only highway north or south for about 70 miles so everything the needs to go east to west or back travels this road. It is a nice ride but do not get in a hurry and the cops watch for people passing on double yellow lines. I have over 20,000 miles on the back roads here and the desire to pass can drive you crazy. BIG NOTE .... PEOPLE HERE SEE YOU COMMING DOWN THE ROAD AND WILL STILL PULL OUT IN FRONT OF YOU AND THEY RUN STOP SIGNS. I also drive a extened cab 1 ton dullie and they will still pull out in front of you. Any questions please ask or if you need help Chuck newman 870 656 2986 full workshop if needed.? BE CAREFUL.....BE SAFE

Cycle gadget sells a motorcycle antenna, works better than the other antennas. Been a sat user for about 6 years, have wired my 4 cars, 2 bikes, I even have a headphone set to use while cutting the grass. I just transfer the docking station to whatever I'm driving. Each sat item.... cables, docking station , antenna can get expensive.... I picked one radio I liked and then stated to puchase sets on Ebay that were complete but the radio might be broken. If you like baseball all games are on XM radio. I use a Delphi Myfi IMPORTANT NOTE Sat radio is NOT talk free....they have dejay the sometimes get in the way of the music... BUT there are NO commercials. if you have any questions...ask ? Cb

I have a 2005 Venture and a 37 foot 5 th wheel toyhauler. I have lowered my bike rear (Barons) and the front due to my short leges, 29 inch inseam. Yesterday I tried to load my bike and I hit the trailer floor right where the door/ramp meet the trailer floor. I had to back down the ramp without getting into the trailer. Has anyone found a way to change the angle of the ramp ? I would hate to raise the bike back to stock because I am happier with the bike being lowered. I plan of leaving next week for Rockford, Il. then Seattle, Wa. then Anchorage and need to get my bike loaded. Cb
