I used T/W gel car wax/gel. Very easy to use, no white wax lines and cleaned up really nice.......THEN for the first time in years when putting in gas I over filled and spilled gas all over the tank. Washed the bike and gelled again. Cb

I have been 100% disabled for about 10 years now (age 59 now) with bad lower back , 2 knee operations and 5 shoulder operations plus more. Anyway... I have a 2005 midnight Venture and seem to be starting to have balance trouble. Not when riding but the slow turning with my foot down and sometimes getting on and off. If I convert my Venture dose any kit offer reverse ? I am not a Harley guy but more Goldwing guy. Are there any model problems I should know about before getting a Wing trike ? What about other trike bikes ? Buget is open........ thanks for any help Cb

I just flushed my 2005 ventures brakes and clutch system this week. All need to do is be quick.... remove the old bleeder and install the new ones, maybe bleed the system just a little. cb

Hi, I finally got my clutch bleed, with 25 years in aircraft hyd. this just did not make sence. facing the bike on the left side, just behind the rear cylinder is a little black rubber cover about 1 inch square. To help with space remove the rear cylinder cover ( 3 screws). be careful when removing the rubber cover, it has a loop around the clutch bleed port screw. The main clutch bleeding problem I had was the bleed scew is soooo lose the I kept sucking air through the threads. I took some white plumbers thread tape around the bleed screw and in 1 hour I was done. I used a Mighty Vac to remove the air and then the squezzed the clutch handle and opeaned and closed the bleed value without the Vac. Put some news paper or card board under the bike to catch any brake fluid. Brake/clutch fluid will eat through most any material and remove paint over time so wash the lower area , I used Simlpe green, lets it sit , then washer with water. Cb

I have a Gramin Zumo 550 that I like because it has a very good bike mount and easy to hard wire. The buttoms are large for using with gloves and there is a simple locking screw for locking the unit in it's bracket. Now that I said that it would not be hard for someone who knows about the lock but it may stop a grad and dash. If you use the audio when riding the Zumo will stop the music and give you the up coming direction change... BUT I think it must be hard wired for this to work. I purchased the Garmin lifetime data upgrade and they email me when the is a update for downloading. I also have a XM radio set but do not use the Zumo for audio. I use my XM on 4 cars, 2 boats , a wave runner and 2 motorcycles and when cutting the grass. The Zumo XM antenna's cost stops me from putting them on everything. Too lazy to change antennas when using the Zumo when almost everything already has XM antennas installed.

This spring I slipped a disc in my lower back and was bed for about 3 weeks. I am disabled with lower back problems and found that a kidney works great for days that I hurt. Some have installed a back rest but the belt moves with you when you shift around the seat. I also have started to ride with a gel seat pad I got at wal mart for $20., they are next to the auto seat covers . You can get a belt from Cycle gadgets . Cb

I lived outside the Tacoma/Seattle for 20 years and Interstate I 5 is one long expressway from Vancourer, Canada to Tacoma, Wa. Even the bypass (405) can be a mess. I would suggest staying inland untill you get south of Tacoma or taking a ferry from Vancourer Island to western Washington. Highway 101 along the coast is a great ride but also a tourist road. Tons of views, places to stay but all traffic travels the same road. It is a wonderful ride. Be safe Cb
