Or, get a cassette adapter, which IMO works much better than the FM modulator. I found mine at Big Lots for $1 and sounds better than the modulator I was using... -

Yup, type 2 and suffer from sleep apnea as well, and am 50+ lbs overweight. Hard to resist goodies when they are placed in front of me. Sick of taking pills but can't find the will power to eat right. Root cause is most likely the way the world is. We are a nation of excess and instantaneous gratification. Supersize me, please...

High Beam ???
bongobobny replied to chocking's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
When you paint your rubber lining, use Gloss White paint as it works better than Silver! Yes, the first thing I would check is for voltage coming to the high beam, and yes, resolder the connector on the dash board. After 25`years the solder can become brittle and break. Connectors can also corrode... -
I have a small plastic tool box that's crammed full with a socket and ratchet set, combination wrenches, allen wrenches, regular and phillips screwdriver, pliers and diagonal cutters. I have a second plastic box that carries a lot of the other things mentioned as well as paper and pen, lighter, etc. I carry the tools around more so for other folks as like Carl I too ride a reliable 1st gen...

I prayed for both families as I read this thread (and Squid & Lonna and a few others as well) and will continue to do so. Thanks for sharing.

Whether or not this phenomon is good or bad will depend upon whether you have accepted or rejected Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. If you have, then that means you are eady for his return. If not, be prepared for 3 1/2 years of sort of OK followed by 3 1/2 years of real trouble... PS Carl, the "Increase Knowledge" part... From what I've seen, it seems they are getting dumber, not smarter!

Oh, NO!!!! Not the kind of news I wanted to hear. Brad & Lonna, Becky and I are praying for you both for a speedy recovery. Praise God you weren't hurt worse than you are.

Hope your luck changes real soon, Brad. Last week we found a leak in our shower fixture (complete with lotsa mold), the bulb in our fiber optic tree went out on Christmas day, and the next day the microwave blew up! Glad we had a chance to meet and pet Sunny last month. He was one really nice cat!
