  1. I am sooooooo sick of the snow...
  2. Snowing here too, but we're used to it!! You are smart to stay here you are especially down south where you guys don't know how to drive in it...
  3. Yes it will, but keep your hands off the brpwn one ending in a couple of days location Buffalo, NY as I want it myself and am local...
  4. No, you need the bigger master cylanders as the calipers hold a lot more fluid. The fluid has to come from somewhere, and the smaller early 1st gen masters don't have it...
  5. Just said a prayer for you, Buddy. Get well soon!
  6. Yah, I haven't seen any on ebay either, and that's why I started this thread. No huge rush as the actual conversion probably won't happen until April. I have to rebuild front shocks and install progressive springs, and rebuild front calipers and master cylander as well, so when I go to do it, it should be a 1 afternoon project, take off the old and bolt on the new...
  7. Rear master cylander for '86 up Venture. I am updating my braking system in the front and found out from Rick at Buckeye that the master cylanders are larger for the 4 piston calipers. I have the front master cylander but not a rear one. So if anyone has an extra they want to part with let me know...
  8. Now, can he make one that looks like a '55 T Bird?!!?
  9. Wassa matter, Charlie, couldn't hook up the sled dogs to get down to Kitchener Saturdey?? You missed one heck of a great time...

  12. I'm using a Silverstar 9003 in my '84...
  13. mbrood is correct. I have a friend who has a backrest from an '85 but it needs reupholstering as it is parrtially deteriorated. He may be illing to part ith it. Wow, NOS trunk that was even the right color!!!!!
  14. You may discover that metric 6 point sockets in 3/4 drive work great... Leastwise that's the way it is on my '02 Trep R/T
  15. As far as the seat, and other parts, ebay is the primary place to try. You may also check the clasifieds here as there are a few 1st gens being torn down right now...
  16. My thoughts exactly! Sure, there are a bunch of wires and connectors, but don't let it intimidate you. They are just stupid old wires, and don't have any "smarts." What needs to happen is to address each electrical problem by itself, and describe it as accurately as possible here. There are a lot of skilled people here who can offer you help and point you in the right direction. Sooo, first question, does the bike start and run???
  17. Bill, the '85 was a unique trunk, only fitting the '85. I'm not entirely sure that the '86 up backrest will just bolt on as they are a litle different shaped and have the "arm rests" sort of built into them. You may have to modify where the bolt holes are if you use a newer one. I am getting together with the guys from Ontario today and will esearch this further. Just how much of the key/lock mechanism are you missing? Do you just need the cylander and key, or do you need the sliders, etc??
  18. Nice looking blonde!! I swear these bikes will outlast us...
  19. No, but at this point I bet there are a bunch of springs flying all over the workshop...
  20. I heard ythat this morning on "Nearly Normal News" in the "I Am So Smart" segment. Totaly hilarious!
  21. You can just read his mind by his facial expression, "Oh, CRAP!!!"
  22. Yah, Brrrrrr, eh?!!?
  23. As Mini said, the fine print says this is a lifetime commitment. You can't just leave the "Family"...
  24. Try Road Runner, and Rider...
  25. I'm speechless! Yes, we have lost a creative talent in Boyd...
