  1. At work we have a standing rule not to use the words "sense" and "common" together in a sentence. For quite some time now we have observed that sense ain't common...
  2. Looks great!! Yah, truck stops are one of my favorite places to shop for lights, etc...
  3. No, it won't work with a Venture, at least the 1st gens, they are wider than the standard 36" door. I know because we measured trying to bring mine into church for an exebition...
  4. Side covers generally go for $30 - $50 or so on ebay, add some for pristine condition...
  5. I now have both and am in the process of mounting them where the original horns go. Haven't tooted either of them yet so I can't say if either is louder. The compressor looks identical, the diaphragm covers are diferent shape plastic, and the Bad boy has a plastric cover over the compressor end where the mount is that the stebel doesn't have. I'm thinking the Bad Boy is a better deal...
  6. Me too! One XL with or without pocket...
  7. I can help you out with the left turn signal, and a mirror that isn't the greatest. Just PM me your address. We wil pray for you!
  8. Awww, man, a rib fest and you didn't tell me???
  9. Uhhhhh, smooth move exlax...
  10. I use a 1500 Watt electric heater in my insulated 1 car garage and it keeps it around 60 degrees in the middle of winter, and doesn't take too long to get up there either. I'm a little leary of using anything like kerosene or propane heaters in a well insulated garage due to the possibility of CO2 buildup...
  11. Nice fish, Charlie!
  12. As far as duplicates, take yours to any place that cuts keys such as Lowes, Home Depot, etc. and have them made. I don't believe that you can get the original blanks any more. The key code should be on the ignition switch but there is a bit of disassembly involved to be able to read them...
  13. Freebird likes them!! Don loved his test drive on one when he was up here visiting. He just misplaced the $16K to take one home...
  14. Uhhhh, head south, not north??? Of course, if you do head north first, at least on the way back each day would get warmer...
  15. Might be interested in the seat and the collector, but I already have 2 manuals...
  16. You're going to do all that in only 8 days??? Good luck, that's a lot of sight seeing! Enjoy, that sounds fantastic!
  17. Hmmmmm, are we trying to own a Fleet???
  18. I forgot to hok up my float charger last fall, and in the spring still had a reasonable charge. Couple of hours or less on a normal charger put it max charge... If you read about the Odessy you will find it was designed for sub zero applications for the military.
  19. Yes, and it is probably one of the best mods you can do to the early Mk I
  20. The luggage guard will physically fit on the bike, but won't clear the bags...
  21. I agree it is a very good deal and you should take it providing you are ready to cross over to the dark side...
  22. Oh, no!! Now they are trying to make a H-D look like a 2nd gen Venture...
  23. Glad to hear you both survived and aren't hurt too bad. I got a really good laugh out of your description of the deer!!
  24. I've heard of that gang, bunch of really nasty prople...
  25. What GeorgeS says! Harder to take old one out than install new ones. Common sense tells you how it has to go together. Just pay attention as to how the speedo gear goes, and when reinstalling wheel how the hub of the speedo gear goes. Try Rick at Buckeye Performance and mention Venturerider for a nice discount...
