    This has unfortunately become pretty much a standard at all establishments in this "Politically correct" wacked out world of today. However, I have been told that if you wish one of the employees a "Merry Christmas" in many establishments they have the right to respond the same if they choose to. My feelings. I am a Bible believing Christian and if THAT fact offends people, I will pray for them. If Christianity offends them I will also pray for them but will treat it as eating meat sacrificed to idols...

    3M adhesive I believe. Just clean the surface with alcohol prior to installing. Also, pre-bend the wide strip to shape before installing to get it to stay in place. I get my chrome from either Auto Zone or Pep Boys. It comes in rolls and depending on the size is usually $15 - $25 per roll.

    Or, you could try the first generation tech talk forum as well. The grilles are the same for all years of 1st gens. I have one but it is pretty rusty and would need sandblasting and repainting...

    I made mine out of those plastic adhesive chrome stickey on thingies. I used the real wide stuff and then edges it with the real thin stuff. Even got fancy with the stuff and used a piece of the medium wide and went down the edge of the fairing to the back. Gotta redo them as I really scraped up the one side this summer when I dropped it at the Biltmore...

    Just found the parts radio I picked up this summer, and yes, I have the 2 gray and 1 black button you need. Will get it out soon! Also, you are lucky as in the winter the ground in front of the shed door rises and I can't get the shed door open. I was able to get it halfway open and got inside probably for the last time until next spring...
