  1. I agree! It goes from he edge of the fairing to the other edge of the fairing, and keeps the speakers dry in the rain as well as the rest of the dash. I want to get another one but with the vent installed...
  2. I agree, keep both. A couple of years ago I bought an '85 for parts, and now I'm gonna restore it...
  3. Shame on you, Big Tom, for making Taters sick! We don't like sick Taters...
  4. Our local dealer has one for $17,900 US funds...
  5. Well, you never want to turn a motorcycle rotor. Yes there is a minimum thickness but I'm not sure of it but you can usually find it in the TM. Bottom line, if the runout is OK and there are no major groves, keep using it unless you like paying around $150 or more for new rotors...
  6. Why, as a matter of fact I bought a set for mine, but for the MK2 brakes, as they are being changed over this winter along with the front shocks. Haven't tried them out but they seem decent enough...
  7. OK then, Rankmaster... Betcha I have you beat. I was 4 different ranks in one day! When I graduated from AIT I was an E3 and got a 2 grade promotion to E5. I also got Article 15'ed for missing bedcheck and waws busted from E3 to E2, so they repromoted me from E2 to E4. That Battery Commander didn't like me.
  8. You just WANT to see me divorced, don't you?!!?
  9. Actually, you can screw in a set of cheap aftermarket mirrors into the clutch and brake master cylanders! The brake even has the "backward" thread required for the installation...
  10. Man, that's as nice if not nicer than Goldie. His trailer looks a lot cooler and matches better than mine does! Tempting, very tempting...
  11. Ebay...
  12. Hi Brad. I would love to, and medically NEED to lose some weight. Sign me up for 25 pounds by M.D.
  13. You ight want to check with Old Bull. He is parting out an '86 but not sure if he wants to part out the engine or not...
  14. I'll take it just to have handy unless someone actually needs it...
  15. Or, I really, really, really WILLLLL make it there!! Hopefully we will finally make it there this year. No more partially disassembled bike, or surgerys...
  16. Ditto to everyone else's comments. Not a great way to start out the new year, is it?? I know EXACTLY how you feel about hurting your wife! I TOTALLY agree about full face helmets. Felt that way for many many years since a friend went down on a freshly oiled road and he showed me his skid lid with one side half peeled off. He remembers watching it peel as he slid down the road. Clould have been his face...
  17. Been there, done that! Ruined my white shirt as well...
  18. Oh well, good time to service all the bushings in your swing arm, Dan...
  19. It's a guy thing, you wouldn't understand...
  20. Needs a little fake wingnut for access to the spare tire... Very good job, looks excellent!
  21. No, we have two computers. Becky is not friends with hi tech devices. The on/off switch confuses her:smash2:
  22. But, but... You're ALREADY on my list!
  23. Yup, I bought 7/8" aftermarket grips and they fit fine...
  24. I'd say Ebay and expect to pay $50 or more for one. They show up 1 or 2 a month on average... Also get in touch with Old Bull as he is parting out an '86. He has pictures in the pictures forum and may have stuff listed in the clasifieds by now.
  25. Wow! Whoda thunk that the stator would fix the CLASS?!!? Fantastic!!
