  1. Brad and Lonna, There is not much that I can say that has not been said already. I'm glad to hear that you two are going to be OK. I think you have woke up some of us to be more aware of what we "ride" on. I know I have. I hope you two heal fast and that you have no problems with your injuries. God and his angles were with you that day. Have a safe trip home and don't forget the help that has been offered. You sure have a lot of friends here on this site. Where else would you find this much love. Take care, and heal fast. Ken:fingers-crossed-emo
  2. Thanks for bringing this up. I did not hear anyone mention that this was "Pearl Harbor" day in my area. I had to remind them. I have not forgot, and I hope our young people will pick up from us, the "baby boomers", that this was real! ! And to be proud of those who have secured a "free" nation to live in. We need to THANK all vets who have fought for our "free nation". But it is true, we are loosing our "heros" too fast. We need to tell them thanks before it's too late. We need to let them know that we appreciate what they went through for us. Ken:bighug:
  3. Thom, I did that one year, went yelling and kicking, but I did it. Glad I did. Ken:080402gudl_prv:
  4. I've had surgery on both my legs, and do not have the strength in them as I did when I was younger. I will probably "trike" the bike one of these days and a reverse sure would be nice. Ken:stirthepot:
  5. I sent my thanks this morning. Thanks for posting the site. Ken:)
  6. I went to my local HF store today after seeing the price of $379.05 for the model mentioned. They didnot have one in the store. However, they looked it up in the store cat. and the price was $479.95 for that model (94813-OVGA). Where were you getting it for $379.95. The 1000# model was $379.95. I'd like to get one, but I would also like to save me $100.00. Ken
  7. OK, I'll check it out. It has been there for about a month. I had an 88 and I know it is older than that. From the road it didn't look too bad. They have several "bikes" in their front lot. Ken:178:
  8. There is a 1st Gen for sale at a car dealership on the southside of Sebring, FL. It looks like it is gold in color. If anybody is interested in it. I'll be down that way on the 27th of Nov. and I will check it out. Ken:stirthepot:
  9. I took 1 - UP because I don't have anyone riding with me. Just one on the bike. Ken:confused24:

    BRA?

Got my "Bra" today. I'm excited! !, Never had one before. At least one that I could call my "own". Beer 30 calls them "Scooter Hooters". Gene, They look good. Can't wait to go out and put them on the bike. Thanks. See, you all thought it was something else. 1 - up Ken
  11. Good luck Thom, I'll be up there to see you. Ken:080402gudl_prv:
  12. I signed it and forwarded it to a friend of mine who rides a Honda Trike. Ken
  13. I was trying to keep to myself and pray for Gary and Leslie, but RandyA you have brought out something that I have seen many times in my 37 years in Law Enforcement. Why people make a "conscious decision" to pull out infront of something that they can plainly see. It makes NO SENSE at all. It does me good to see that there are so many people "here" that are "family" to the rest of us. And that these "family people" get together to help one of their own. I know that I made a wise decision to join this "SITE". GOD bless Leslie and Gary and all the VentureRider family members. Ken
  14. Thomm, I'll be there on the 21st. See if I can get some good deals on things that the venders don't want to carry home with them. Ken
  15. Thomm, It looks good. Ken
  16. You already have me on the list. 1 - up Thanks. Ken

  19. I have a Time Out, and have enjoyed it very much. I just got it last July. I had it at Vogel. It has a Queen size bed, table and room to dress in. It also has room enough for 2 chairs inside. Mine has a place for an 5200 BTU air conditionair. It has plenty of windows and two of them have plastic over the screens so you can run the air and still let in light. I have a 12X12 screen room attached which gives a lot more room outside. You can pull your bike in out of the weather if you want, or place some extra chairs for guests. I also have a fan and TV that I bring with me when I travel. It doesn't take me too long to set up, (of course I'm still learning). I carry my TV and air cond. on top of the trailer along with 4 chairs. The TV and air are in the luggage bag that I got with the trailer. It has electric brakes, however I haven't hooked them up with the bike as of yet. I also have the cooler rack and cooler that is on the tongue of the camper. I'm pulling almost 400# and I do know it when I pull away from a stop light or sign. But once on the road I don't know it's back there unless I hit a dip or bump in the road. You can contact Time OUt Trailers (Campers) and they will send you a DVD and you can see for yourself. Good luck in your search, and it is a lot of fun. (Except when you pick a camp site too far away from the bathroom.) Ken 1 - UP:080402gudl_prv:
  20. thanks For Sharing Your Thoughts. It Was Very Nice And Well Writen. ken
  21. On mine, I just drilled a hole and used a rubber grommet(sp) and ran the wire through it. Never got any water in the bags. Sorry that I don't have any pictures. Ken:080402gudl_prv:
  22. When I had my 1st Gen, I put mine inside the rightside saddle bag. I ran a small tire pump. Depends wheather or not you want to conceal it or not. I didn't want the weather to get to mine. Ken
  23. I never had to do anything after I put my Bub's on. I've had them on almost a year now. Ken:178:
  24. I have been able to escort the "wall" and have been to it several times when it was here in Florida. I have several friends on that "wall". Everyone should have the chance to go to the "wall", either the "moving wall" or the one in DC. When I was in Branson, MO. the last time I went to the Vets memoral. They have the names of those who have died for our freedom. I think they go back to the 1st WW, and list for WWII, Korea, Viet Nam, Desert Storm, I don't know if they have started anything for Iraq. Maybe someone knows Ken
  25. I have the Bub's on mine and I get anywhere from 42 to 46 mph. It all depends on how I drive as it would with anyone else. I haven't change anything yet. Ken:178:
