April 30 2012 should be my last day to show up for work too. Even got it maked on the calander. Won't miss the job just some of the guys.

I have been using automotive seals Pic's of the box the seal comes in are on my profile. Have had no issues wth them. They are easy to obtain in my area, and the price is good too

Lookin good Jeff, It is a great feeling when something you have spent time on comes through. I have been rebuilding a 74 charger for the last 3 or 4 years. It was in pretty poor shape when I got it. Last week I had it inspected and she passed. Put a set of plates on her and drove it home. Now for the paint. It is hard to find someone to paint a car/ congrats

I also only watch the playoffs when it is getting down to playing for all the marbles. Didn't see the whole game just the last 1/2 of the 3rd quarter and the 4th quarter. Winnipeg ran out of time me thinks, but there are only 4 quarters in a game not 5

When I put plates on my 83 Venture I always get a letter saying the serial number isn't right and the bike doesn't exist. Each year I have to go down and show them the serial number despite the fact it ws registered yast year and the year before and the year before that and so on. No big deal here if you let your plates expire.

Got a pad poured in my 30 X 48 pole shed, Called the guy on a thursday, told him what I wanted, He gave me a price over the phone. He and his brother showed up on monday with a couple of their kids. Leveled the surface, Laid rebar by noon and went camping. Came back a few days later, followed by three cement trucks. They poured the pad and power trawled it and were gone by mid afternoon. Price was what he quoted for labor and I paid the cement bill. Maybe he will come down if you call him:confused24:

Left home one morning on a beauty day, got cought in a snow storm on the last 15 miles home only saving grace was the temp had dropped and the road was cold so no snow sticking to it. Still not a fun ride. Those farings on the 1st gen split the snow really nice. -
Snowing here right now, I think about 4 inches and still coming down. The older I get the more I dislike winter.

Can you say............ HOTEL CALIFORNIA I have a GW as well as a 1st Gen. The wife enjoys the GW because of the ride. If I am solo I perfer the 1st Gen. Having said that I have stopped in to other sites and see lots of bickering etc and not much info exchange. This is the first site I stop at. I have met people I would never have met, and I have friends I have never met and might never meet. I don't think there is any other site which is as friendly and has members who are as knowledgeable and ready to help. No one cares what you ride. You can check out but never leave

I Also despite getting home from work at 0400 got up and put on my dress uniform and went down to the local Legion for the Service to have a coffie and visit with the Vets who are becoming fewer each year.
