Hi Folks: I know I said Deb and I would be there again this year but as it turn out my part time job jockying a combine around the country his going to interfere with PIP. We were really looking forward to the ride and fellowship again this year and the PIP patches. Lots of pics please folks and maybe next year.

Driver backrest. Who's got one? What do you think of it?

I put a back rest on my Gold wing, I think it made a world of difference on longer rides. I found myself slouching behind the windshield and then my neck and shoulders would tire. With the back rest it forces me to sit more upright and I find I do not slouch. Also seems to make things more comfortable with my feet on the pegs. In my mind they are a good investment -

Tried the command start program and could not get it to work. I see that there is a few years difference in the bikes so I am putting it down to that, Oh well

Been retired for coming up on two years,Best two years I can recall, With that new shift a week off every other week is like being on holidaze. Worked a job like that once and never had to take holidaze. It was like holidaze every second week W. as able to build the holiday bank up nicely. You won't be bored if anything you will be busier

Had a boat for about twenty years and used it lots when we lived further north with a lake every where, use to spend more in gas for the boat in the summer than the truck to pull it. Finally needed a new floor so we put in a new floor which took a couple of years. Wife did a bit of research and we hadn't used it in about six years. After quite a bit of thought we sold it and haven't missed it. More fun to jump on the bike and go.

Had the same sort of thing happen. Returned from Belize, The wife was checking over the visa bill and found a purchase we had not made. The resort reversed the charge with no problem. The kicker is that when the charge was posted on our bill by the visa people we we charged a service charge and then when it was taken off we were charged again. Total is about $7.00 usd. So Visa gets paid both ways. Should be in the banking and credit card busness

Picked it up, $60.00. Guy was an older fellow who said he was riding faster than his brain so he is hanging it up. Carb tune is complete but no case and missing one of the adapters. The rods all move so now it is time to wait on spring. Of course it won't work on my Goldwing but I will need it for that Virago I am working on for my boy and it is one of those things that are just nice to have in the tool box.

Just a skiff of snow here and a steady -100 c or 14 f. The ground and water are stiff, and I am already tired of it too

Mobile trap translates to a good cat.. I have a couple of those transmitter things in the shed and I think they work to a degree. I also use some warferin seed. Mobile trap seems to work just by having them around
