Its good to know the credit card companies are watching for suspicious activity. A couple weeks ago I used a Visa credit card, that I hadn't given much use in a while, at three stores right next to each other for about $200 per transaction. I had a call from the card company when I got home asking me to confirm the transactions, and they had put a temporary hold on payment to the stores until I talked with them.

In most places the city/county/state have right aways for x number of feet along publicly maintained roads. Unfortunately, the gov't (and Post Office)can tell you its your responsibility to maintain it.

For you, the good news is that there is plenty of camping nearby, at Vogel State Park, and in several areas of the Chattahoochie National Forest. http://www.campingchattahoochee.com/CampgroundDetail.aspx?CampID=10 http://www.n-georgia.com/wmacamp.htm

One problem with having lawmakers is that they think they need to be writing more and more laws. Of course most of them are lawyers, so its good for business.

I went three times back in the 70's and there was a delay each time, so I never saw one go up. If I remember right the 3 shots were, the origonal skylab, a mars lander, and a Voyager deep space probe. They all went up eventually, I just wasn't there to watch nearby.

I wouldn't run it in the oil of a wet clutch motorcycle. Then again, I wouldn't use it in a car or truck either, If I wanted to enhance a car or truck's oil I'd use an oil additive.

I second MotorcycleGear for jackets. I bought a Joe Rocket jacket with armor in the shoulders, elbows and back, and removable liner for winter wear from them. I wear it year around. It has zippers on the arms that can be opened to get extra air flow in hot weather. added: I just bought Cortech by Tour Master CPX Textile Cargo Pants for $55. These look like quality heavy duty riding pants with Gortex reinforced seat and knees. People here are paying $100 for reinforced bluejeans. I like these better. Its a great deal. Thanks for getting me to look at the web site. BTW, be sure to select venturerider.org for a $1 donation when buying from them.

Ponch has the kits. They are in the classifieds area. There are several extensive old threads on the subject discussing the different sizes possible.

funny this thread comes up. There was a 1 night a week for 5 weeks class on beekeeping at a community college about 45 miles away that started this week, and I almost signed up. I see a beekeeper who's only 20 miles away offers 1 on 1 instruction including building a hive, and he'll sell the materials as well as a starter queen with some worker bees. Bees wax is what I've always used to wax my bow (archery) string. And Grandma used to use it to seal foods that were canned in a pressure cooker as well as make candles. I'm putting in some large flower beds and thought the bees would help pollinate the plants.

Interesting. But I would expect the dirt captured and dirt passed graphs to be exact inverses of each other, but they're not. That has me scratching my head.
