  1. It appears one must buy Yes coveridge at the time you purchase a vehicle from a Yamaha Dealer (only). FOR USED VEHICLES The term of the Y.E.S. Contract for your used Yamaha vehicle is the number of months of Y.E.S. Contract coverage purchased at the time of used vehicle sale, and is shown in the Declarations. The used vehicle is eligible only if the Yamaha Dealer sells (sold) you the used vehicle and the Y.E.S. Contract on the same day. Yamaha will not provide coverage for used vehicles which are not sold by the Yamaha Dealer.

  11. a friend in Japan said that they lost utilities there for a day, and there's some minor structural damage. But that the parents of a sister-in-law live in a small fishing village on the NE coast near the epicenter, and that the whole village is gone, and no word of the relatives. prayers go out for these people J update just got a report from the friend there who said there have been continuos aftershocks, and there was just a rather violent one. So its not over yet.

  17. I'm wondering if a spray of electrical cleaner into the lock every once in a while might keep the contacts clean and help preclude any arcing from occuring which then damages the circuit.
  18. I have 4 bikes. the 2000 Millenium Venture, the 2008 RSTD, a 2001 Triumph Thunderbird 855cc triple, and a 200cc Suzuki. Triumph has some electrical problems but otherwise was my around town bike. The Suzuki is a dirt road bike for the most part, but fills in for a quick trip around town bike.
  19. indeed. from wikipedia. n 1984, executives of the Yamaha Motor Corporation signed a contract with the Ford Motor Company to develop, produce, and supply a compact 60° DOHC V6 engine for transverse application The SHO V6 was a high-tech and revolutionary design when it debuted in 1988. Displacing 3.0 L (2986 cc/182 cu in), it was an iron block, aluminum head 24-valve DOHC engine with an innovative variable length intake manifold. Its oversquare and symmetrical design, which sported an 89 mm (3.5 in) bore and 80 mm (3.1 in) stroke, gave the high-revving engine an output of 220 bhp (164 kW; 223 PS) at 6200 rpm and 200 lb·ft (271 N·m) of torque at 4800 rpm at the flywheel
  20. Yamaha has made engine stuff for Toyota automobiles in the past.
  21. maybe a new sport tourer, but not a RSV version 3
  22. I found a set of metric feelers that had ultra thin gauges down to .01mm so you could add the thin one to a thicker one to make any gauge. I think I bought it at Northern Tool, but it might have been Advanced Auto.
