  1. You might want to consider joining Friends of GA State Parks. That way you get a pass to all the parks, and also get a free night of camping. http://friendsofgastateparks.org/index.html There are 100+ state parks in Georgia. It has one of the best park systems in this country. Come visit the Dahlonega Gold Museum while you're here. I'll give you a guided tour. Site of the first US gold rush. US Mint 1838-1861 minting only US gold coins.

  11. I have the short & wide Showchrome and would recommend it.
  12. If the offer is open for Saturday night, I'll take you up on it. I'm planning on doing 850 miles to KC the first day, then scottsbluff at 600 miles on saturday would leave an easy 400 mile run on sunday. I wasn't the one who contacted you previously. many thanks.
  13. See Bill, your memory is getting bad. I can still remember when any 1300cc engine was a big torquey motor.. The Victory CC looks like a fine ride. Guess I'll have to go for a demo ride one of these days. there's a Victory dealer about 25 miles away.
  14. I took a factory test ride on the new Triumph Thunderbird. I prefer the RSTD which is roughly comparable in size and accessories and power. And a lower price. You can get a low mileage RSTD for a very good price right now, or a new old stock.
  15. Thanks, but jeff has one Jeff has a cam sent by Dingy, and is also getting a complete engine from rjg1985
  16. Good find. Thats why I try not to look at Craig's List. Hmm. I wonder what else is there today...

  20. glad you can talk about it. heal fast.
  21. when you get the new EBC's compare the pad thickness to how much you said you saw still on the origonal pads. I think you'll find that you still have 50% left. If so, I'd just rotate the inner and outer pad and keep the new ones for a while. Check the pads every oil change and you should be able to keep from going down to the metal. Check brake fluid level and coloration. If its dark, its time to flush the brake fluid. There's nothing to lube. Although some people put anti-squeak lube on the back of the pads.
  22. Welcome to this group Jim. Some of the Texans will jump in soon with a howdy. The RSV is a fine machine.
  23. be sure to get a picture of you and Al wearing a cheese head.....
  24. Lewis. It isn't fair. hang in there. prayers sent for you and Charlene.
  25. When you're done with it, if it winds up being parted out or scrapped, please consider sending me the shims from it for my shim kit.
