    I've got a 5-10 mile stretch of gravel road nearby I use to scuff my new tires in. Seems to work well. I've decided not to fool with car tires. I have a new BFG car tire that will fit the 2nd gens if anyone near north Georgia wants it for free.

    With 2 up I'd probably not shift to 4th until 50 or more. On the ride back from the Dragon 2 weeks ago I noticed the whine was much worse when going down hill and not applying much throttle. First time I'd noticed that. But wasn't too bad on the flats or up-hill with rpm's kept up.

    Yep, the remains of hurricane Lee are following the Appalachian ridge north. We needed the rain here in GA, but wish you could have better weather for your ride.

    I wasn't suggesting he run the international. But he could comment on the roads and accomodations in the area.

    Hmm Somerset, PA. I used to live nearby in Maryland. The forum is looking for a place to hold the international rally next year and I have suggested your general vicinity as a good place. Maybe Union town Gap.

    when changing fluid I've found that I must clean the bottom of the reservoir bowl where crud accumulates, otherwise the new fluid becomes dirty again very quickly.

    I'd probably pick the Gold Wing, just cause I think its easier to get demo rides on Harleys and Victorys

    use the paint program that comes with Windows. open the large image, use the resize option, then save-as a new name.
