Only 842 miles from Dahlonega, GA. Much the same as it was to Chaffee, NY for me.

I had no trouble with the ME880's that were on my RSV when I bought it, and would be running on a new M880 if it hadn't picked up a nasty nail on the way to Cody last summer. Since all I could buy in Cody was an E3, thats also what I went with when I replaced the front this summer. I think the ME880s handle and wear very well. That said, I ride one-up and like to inflate to just under max pressure per tire manuf spec .

what load does he like with that AR ??

26,000 is when the book says to check them. And thats a very conservative interval.

You're probably going to change the overall gear ratio-to-the ground if you put on a larger diameter rear wheel and tire. It will look mechanically like a lower ratio (higher gear) which likely isn't a good thing.

The Carbon One stand works fine on the 05-09 RSTD's if thats what you're suggesting. unless you're asking for a modified version of the 'lever' lift in the orig post?

Introduction and questions about my new (almost) ride RSV Millennium
RandyR replied to 9Grenzen's topic in Watering Hole
so which sequence number Millenium did you get. I have 404. Bought 2 years ago with 16000 miles, now has 33000. I had to flush the brake & clutch fluid twice and wipe out the goo in the bottom of the reservoirs to get the fluid to come clean. The po had put a new yusa battery in it that is still strong. If you can start it 3-4 times after turning it off and it still cranks strong, then the battery is probably ok. The rear hub pins were dry on mine and needed lube, but the drive shaft still had some grease on it. Plan on sending the seats to Rick Butler for softening up during the off-season. The stock seat is relatively comfortable, but Rick will improve it. Picture ????? -

DOT 5.1 is not the same as DOT 5.

My 2000 Millenium is just about broken in now.

if by chance your '06 was a new-old-stock purchase origonally, and still under warranty, I'd involve yamaha. There may be a State agency which oversees vehicle maintenance claims where you live.

the elections here are costing 7 billion dollars. The corporations have to do something to offset the costs of contributions to the PACS so that bonuses can keep going up at the expected rate.

Just head south from Knoxville TN on US129 and you'll find it.... Then at the south end (Deal's gap) take hwy 28 east to US23 and jump on the Blue Ridge Pkwy to Ashville where you'll find all your friends waiting for you next week...

most corporations are always looking at ways they can raise prices. No one's trying to save you money.
