  1. Just up the road in Cusseta stop for a Ranger Burger at the Four Winds Restaurant. 464 Ga Hwy 26 Cusseta, GA 31805 This is a hungry man-size burger. Bet ya can't eat 2 of them. Since I'm a 100 miles north of there, not sure what the weather is like. Kinda cool and drizzely here in Dahlonega this morning. But no rain in the forecast, overcast and 60's for temp today.
  2. A snow shoveler in Arizona ? No wonder you're out of work. !!!!!
  3. Had an EXP date of Dec 5. They were long gone by then...
  4. That's my buddy PeeWee Jones at Riverbend Gunclub. PeeWee is 3ft 4inches tall, and a crack shot at skeet and sporting clays.
  5. The insurance companies are instigators of this type behavior. They increase a business's insurance rate if they don't follow certain 'safety' policies, and this is one of them.
  6. Stopped at Walmart on the way home Monday night looking for a specific kind of Christmas lights. In a display by the door was a stack of sacks Hostess Sweet Sixteen powdered donuts. I grabbed a sack of them. I thought maybe a local bakery was still making Hostess products under license. They came from Interstate Brands in Irving, TX. A quick Yahoo search turned up that is Hostess and they are closed. Guess these donuts were the last of them in the pipeline.

  13. US companies are not in business to a) make needed products, b) provide employment to citizens c) support the US economy or even d) provide income to shareholders. They are in business to siphon off maximum dollars to the senior executives. Taxes? Its cheaper to hire a creative accountant and put a few bucks into all the political candidates' election funds. Then, when the cow collapses from being over milked and underfed..... You can bet your bippy that the senior execs at Hostess all have Golden Parachute contracts that will pay them better to dissolve the company, than to have to WORK and manage the company in a profitable manner. They'll all walk out with multi-million dollar packages when the company is sold off. The execs will get their money first. The shareholders will get 10cents on the dollar for their shares. The employees are expendable. Thats what the American dream has become.
  14. Ride the street car to the Quarter.
  15. Quoting a news story concerning new mediation talks that may lead to bankruptcy and liquidation of assets or may result in a new settlement and renewed operations. Members of the BCTGM union went on strike after workers were asked to accept pay cuts, diminished health benefits and a reduction in contributions to their pension fund from $100m a year to $25m a year. It also emerged that some members of the management had received 80% pay rises at the same time.

I think we need a special color or pop-up to warn us that moderators are lurking nearby...
  20. I tried selling my 08 RSTD 2 years ago and never got a fair offer, so gave up and kept it as well as the RSV.
  21. Kick, I'm glad you're Ok except for the bruises. So what happened (assuming telling the story won't confuse any litigation). Looks like Temp Plates on the car. New driver maybe?
  22. I think I liked the older style before they went with a front disc brake. The spare wheel/tire carried on the sidecar could fit any of the wheels. Thats a handy feature.

Great idea. I may just copy that. I fooled around with unix at a place I worked at once upon a time, but never became proficient at it.
  24. Welcome You probably want to post that video to YouTube then post a link to it here. Make sure to holler at me next time you're in Ga (I lived in Grayling many moons ago).
  25. I haven't seen a color tune used, but Muffinman has one and will tune peoples bikes with it for a small fee. The reports about its success are positive.
