I have a number of solar powered lights and light strings at spots along my driveways, garden, and even a path thru the woods. But, they seldom stay lit past midnight. Even in summer with short nights, they seldom stay lit until daybreak. If amount of amps available is a concern on your current wiring, use wired led lights for the floods and in your garage. The draw will go down substantially. I haven't tried the motion detector led floods.

At a company I was employed at for a number of years, one could expect policy changes every time a new management team was put in place, which was roughly every 2 years. They would get busy writing new policy and Operations manuals to implement the changes. I had about 5 sets of OPS manuals dating back over 10 years. Every two or three changes the OPS manual would be almost identical to a predecessor. After all, no manager ever got a bonus from saying everything is running well.

Its a 1-3/4inch neck, which is pretty much standard these days. A 1/16" wider than my old Martin with a 1-11/16 neck. It looks wider than it is because the neck is slightly shorter. Its a 12-fret neck rather than the more normal 14 fret neck. There are different ways of doing 12 fret necks. Larrivee just moves the bridge back on the face of the guitar. This also changes the tone a bit, in a way I find pleasing. Martin would call this a 000. Larrivee also makes a 000 with similar sized body, just slightly deeper and a 1-13/16" neck.

I agree that I'm using ebay a lot less these days. There are very few real auction bargains to be found there.

there are generics or substitute (similar) meds for a lot of drugs at Walmart for $10/month. Using them, I've not really used my Medicare Prescription Drug Plan. They would be more expensive to me if I did use medicare. Go figure?

You can buy 25mm shims for the Triumphs in .025mm increments. The current air cooled Triumph Bonneville variants and the Thunderbird as well as the older 900/1200 Hinckley engines all use 25mm shims the same as our V4 Yamaha bikes. Used shims from the factory can be in any .01mm increments.

I'm not playing much lately. Have a once-a-month jam I go to on a Saturday afternoon. Not practicing much at home either. Might play 1-2 tunes every couple days. Playing a 12-fret neck Larrivee. http://randyrick.us/guitars/LarriveeLS03ForumIIIandMC.jpg

I bought a new 2008 RSTD as NOS in 2009. After a year I bought a RSV (2000 MM). While they are 95% the same bike, the rides are slightly different because of the seat and handlebars, and of course, slightly increased weight of the RSV. But the difference is a small one. Seats and handlebars are easily and often customized options. Both my bikes are stock setup with the exception of a Rick Butler seat on my RSV and a narrower 130 width Avon on my RSTD. I am just able to get my feet down on either of them, the RSTD being slightly easier to handle. The wind protection and seating/handlebar position on the RSV suits me best. Not a lot better, but somewhat. The RSTD gives me more peace of mind knowing that its going to be easier to work on some common front end repair items if ever needed. But I would take either of them for a cross country trip. I might upgrade the seat on the RSTD if it was my only MC. btw, I mostly ride solo.

That's ok. Here in Georgia we're hunkered down with our red woolies on right now. Here's a funny. Wednesday it was heavy rain, and I left an umbrella open on the front porch to dry off when I came home late. Then high winds all night. Umbrella was gone like Mary Poppins on Thursday. This morning, Friday, more high winds. I see something large & black go by my office window out the corner of my eye and think... did I leave one of the dogs out? I stick my head out the door, and there's my umbrella back again. I wonder where it was for a day?

When the electricity went out last night I thought.. wow, here it comes... But a little later a power company truck came down the road and the lights came back on. Gee, those guys really are miracle workers....
