  1. Good looking bike. The lamps add to its looks. I've also been thinking about adding passing lamps to my Tour Deluxe. Are you using Yamaha OEM lamps and brackets or an after market brand?
  2. Are you in the picture with it? If you win, you have to choose the next scavenger hunt target.
  3. A beautiful part of the world.
  4. I've been under that bridge. Where were all the bikes when I was there????
  5. Sounds like another CDC lab experiment that has escaped...
  6. A bike riding friend bought one for his wife to ride. He rode it over to my house to show me when he got it. She didn't like it so its for sale last I heard. Thats all I know...
  7. Do you have a speedo corrector? If not, it seems the speedo and odo are off as much as 10% too high, which means 10% less gas mileage than one would think. I haven't checked my RSTD's speedo accuracy yet, but am making a mental note to myself to do that on the trip to Arkansas next month.

Looks like they had some fun making that video....
  9. Is there a dimmension / type for the correct bearings? Since the part number alone doesn't seem to always insure the right ones are found. The parts blowup just has a part number on it.
  10. Got a back packer fishing rod that will fit on that scooter? I don't see a rod holder mounted anywhere?
  11. I've seen a couple posts from riders with Barnett clutches. Does that reduce the whine? I'm probably too cheap to replace mine now while its under warranty, but maybe down the road if it will quiet it down.

  13. Berliner Kindl German Restaurant 121 Broadway Black Mountain, NC 28711 Phone: 828-669-5255 Authentic German Restaurant offers exciting menu with a wonderful European atmosphere. We are German owned and operated. Visit the German Import Store in our restaurant which offers an extensive selection of meats, chocolates, cookies, cosmetics, breads, german beers, wines and much more! Hours are Monday Through Sarurday 11:00am until 8:00pm. We accept reservations. I couldn't find a web page. However, I'm curious about the schedule too on Saturday. I want to make it to the KOA early, but if I run late would like to know where I might catch everyone for breakfast or possibly even lunch. If anyone from Georgia wants to join me, I'm planning on riding up US23 from Clarkesville thru Clayton GA, Franklin NC, to I40 at Waynesville NC, then east to Asheville and Swannanoa/Black Mountain. Then will come back after dinner via I26 to US25 to SC11 to US123 to Clarkesville GA, and on to home. It'll be a long day, but should be home by midnight.
  14. I think I recall someone in Texas saying that he knows of brackets to use the RSV pillow seat on the Tour Deluxe, but not what you want.
  15. Seems that making sure everything is lubed properly has fixed at least one person's squeaks. That takes time, but replacing a shock is expensive and you'd feel very silly if the squeak was still there after doing a replacement.
  16. I went for a 300 mile ride yesterday without the windshield. Didn't notice the whine at all...... I did notice that my full face helmet's shield has a loud whistle when left up or even partially up.
  17. is this one of the new style GPS's that plots the shortest route between pool halls with Budweiser and cheeseburgers?
  18. Did someone say griddlecakes?
  19. Yep. It was great ride. Still nice and cool in the NC mountains. I got home at 6:20 via Lake Burton and Unicoi, the only stop was a huge traffic jam north of Helen GA. Usually the Unicoi route bypasses that. See y'all next weekend in Asheville for German food.
  20. good looking bib and I like that leather wrap for the com plug. Your sis does good work!
  21. nice looking bike. lets get this pony on the road.
