  1. Look for your coffee cup to be re-sold on ebay....
  2. I've been using Yamaha gear oil in my RSTD. That said, someone in another thread said he was putting a small dab of Honda moly60 in their rear gear oil each time he changed the oil. Sounds like a good idea, and I've started doing that too. I see Mobil-1 makes a rear gear oil. I expect its top of the line stuff.
  3. A really good natured dog. Seems to have an affinity for sticker burrs though... I think she should be named Ventura .....

  5. Hopefully the Dr has a plan that will work out.
  6. Here's the compound crossbow I ordered. A Barnett Wildcat C5. http://www.northwoodsoutlet.com/oscommerce/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=3912 http://www.northwoodsoutlet.com/oscommerce/catalog/images/wildcat%20large2.jpg I also bought the cocker attachment so I wouldn't have to pull back the 150lb bow string. This is the least expensive of this series of Barnetts, and also the smallest and lightest weight one. Bob. Sure. we could hunt together. I'm going to start exploring the various WMA's and federal lands nearby. problem with the WMA's is that they require checkin. But that probably is goodness in that it reduces the number of hunters vs open forest svc land. I probably wouldn't hunt Bear. I think Vogel is closed to hunting... but.. BEAR HAIR GAP TRAIL 4.1-Mile Partial Loop. Average Travel Time: 4 Hours. Foot Travel Only. Wildflowers abound in season and long-distance vistas can be seen after the leaves have fallen. The trail leaves the park and travels onto the Chattahoochee National Forest which is open to hunting. It is advisable to wear bright colored clothing or safety orange vests during hunting season. I also have a modern muzzle loader as well as an older .45cal kentucky rifle. & a couple modern centerfire hunting rifles. Its time to get them sighted in.
  7. Our prayers are with you....
  8. I've decided to start deer hunting again after a 3 year layoff during which time I lost my lease rights to private land nearby. But I'm right on the edge of several large tracts of Federal and Georgia state public lands. Some open and some which require checkin/signin (wildlife management areas). Georgia offers a free hunting/fishing license to those over 65, and for those like myself in the over-60 group a $90 lifetime license which includes eveything hunting/fishing except Federal bird stamps. So I bought the over-60 lifetime license yesterday, and ordered a Barnett crossbow via the internet to use. I think my right arm is too weak to hold a bow for any length of time since I broke the arm & shoulder 3 years ago. Bow season starts Sept 12th, muzzle loader Oct-10, and firearms on Oct 16 - Jan 1. I'm thinking I want to buy a TC Contender .22rf pistol to squirrel hunt prior to deer hunting from the Suzuki trail bike I have , so I can get some early scouting in.
  9. I've not had that problem with Wincester in the past. I do know that prices are up and availability down for ammo right now. With that in mind, its time for me to dust off the Dillon reloader and crank out enough ammo to last me a while.
  10. Easier to change tires on a spoked rim because you don't have to worry so much about seating on the rim (inner tube is what gets inflated).
  11. heh heh... a few. Ya got me. There's 882 of them... I think I'll look at them later this evening when I have a cold frosty one in my hand and a bag of popcorn...
  12. The pictures want a user name and passwword for server g.ho.st
  13. re: Kitesquid. I should have researched the sealed beam type and replacements available before I bought my H3 lamps it would appear. I didn't realize all the options for replacement sealed beams available... Here's some for those looking... http://www.servicelighting.com/library/light_bulbs_halogen_par36.cfm
  14. Both Northern Tool and Tractor Supply Co have small trailer tires at reasonable prices I have found. As well as Harbor Freight... Northern Tool seemed to have the best prices for what I needed. btw. nice bike and MC trailer. I saw it for sale also. I think the MM is the best looking Venture out there.
  15. I have passing lamps on their way to me via the Big Brown Truck. I chose H3 over sealed beam because I know I can get H3 lamps at Wallyworld, plus there appear to be numerous plug compatible options as well should I so choose in the future.
  16. some good shots. Looks like I missed a good ride up US 129...
  17. So why couldn't the RV stop in 500 feet?
  18. The passing lamps are available as either sealed beams or h3 halogen.
  19. Sure.... It was an accident... Uh Huh....
  20. There may be a problem somewhere (else) that is manifesting itself as failed electrical components. I know you've looked at a lot of things already. Has anyone confirmed that the rapidly blinking signal lights you were getting is really a valid error code of some kind?
  21. tires come in different weight ratings. You can look for one with a higher weight rating than the origonal equipment Bridgestone, I expect.
  22. I'll second that. Thanks for putting on a great rally.
