  1. What size Pirelli rear tire are you using? TIA
  2. Have any of you used the BFGoodrich radial for comparison? or thoughts one vs the other in terms of tire construction and wear.
  3. I used Moto400 for my 600 mile service back in April. Price seemed fair. I haven't had anything complicated done there. I'll probably go back if I need a service department. Conveniently, Moto400 sells & services Yamaha, Suzuki, and Triumph, the 3 bikes I have. There's also a Honda-Yamaha dealer in Gainesville, I haven't had any service done there, but they are a large dealer.
  4. I have a Guess. My guess is that the air intakes aren't perfectly balanced so the carbs have to be tweeked differently to balance things overall.
  5. Moto400 on GA 400 just north of the outlet mall. (Accross from Kroger) http://moto400.com/
  6. yep. post a few pictures as you go so we can see the parts needed and how its overall progressing.
  7. I commend your son for his service to his country. Which reminds me, my nephew who is in the Marines had volunteered for a job that would put him back in the Middle East for the 3d time. I need to find out what is happening with him.
  8. Yep. quite a few dings and scrapes from chasing Brer Rabbit thru the briar patches.
  9. Great... You can put the transmission back together now...
  10. Consider getting a Carbon1 jack stand with legs. It makes maintenance a whole lot easier.

  12. My ex-BMW K1100 had an electric windshield. I loved it. I think the best you're going to do on the RSV is get a windshield with an adjustable vent in it, and adjustable lower deflectors which could channel in air.
  13. must be a sign from above that its time to upgrade.... PS. I've always wondered why the newest version of the the operating system which is always marketed as being more efficient and faster, requires more memory and a faster computer to run... One of those mysteries of life, I guess...
  14. Eat some extra BBQ for me....
  15. so where did he keep the key?
  16. I don't have either IrlMike's or your email. So I just PM'd Mike on the Triumph Forum and asked him for his address, I'll PM it to you when I get it. I'm sure he'll want to talk with you.
  17. He told it like it was, not how Spyder Marketing was spinning it..
  18. Glad to hear that there were only minor injuries to everyone involved. yep, they are out to get you....
  19. I posted a link to the Triumph forum thread here also... Let me search for it again. I know I posted this before, I'm not sure what happened to it. Here's the link to the Triumph Forum. http://www.triumphrat.net/hinckley-classic-triples/99853-igniter-remap-and-low-cost-stock-replacement.html The Triumph rider IrlMike is the one with the most experience with the Ignitech, if you want his email address, I'll ask him if I can give it out to you.
  20. is the video of the Potato Creek rally available online, or just on disk?
  21. I posted that link in the origonal thread. do a search and you should find it. There are a number of people running the Ignitech box, they are past the messing with it stage.
  22. Good score.....
  23. I got 42 per odometer during my breakin trip, get less at 70mph+. The speedo is off by about 10% though, so its not as good as you think, if thats what you're using to compute by.
  24. One from the early model Tour Classics may be easier to fit?
