www.brewracingframes.com/id75.htm What he's saying is that tig welding (or other high heat sources) can cause brake cleaner (and maybe other cleaners) left on parts to become poisonous gases. In his case phosgene which is one of the poisonous gases used in WWI to kill or disable large numbers of soldiers.

What size Pirelli rear tire are you using? TIA

Have any of you used the BFGoodrich radial for comparison? or thoughts one vs the other in terms of tire construction and wear.

I used Moto400 for my 600 mile service back in April. Price seemed fair. I haven't had anything complicated done there. I'll probably go back if I need a service department. Conveniently, Moto400 sells & services Yamaha, Suzuki, and Triumph, the 3 bikes I have. There's also a Honda-Yamaha dealer in Gainesville, I haven't had any service done there, but they are a large dealer.

I have a Guess. My guess is that the air intakes aren't perfectly balanced so the carbs have to be tweeked differently to balance things overall. -

I commend your son for his service to his country. Which reminds me, my nephew who is in the Marines had volunteered for a job that would put him back in the Middle East for the 3d time. I need to find out what is happening with him.

Consider getting a Carbon1 jack stand with legs. It makes maintenance a whole lot easier. -
My ex-BMW K1100 had an electric windshield. I loved it. I think the best you're going to do on the RSV is get a windshield with an adjustable vent in it, and adjustable lower deflectors which could channel in air.

must be a sign from above that its time to upgrade.... PS. I've always wondered why the newest version of the the operating system which is always marketed as being more efficient and faster, requires more memory and a faster computer to run... One of those mysteries of life, I guess...

so where did he keep the key?

I don't have either IrlMike's or your email. So I just PM'd Mike on the Triumph Forum and asked him for his address, I'll PM it to you when I get it. I'm sure he'll want to talk with you. -
He told it like it was, not how Spyder Marketing was spinning it..
