Does your fuel light come on when your turn your key on?
RandyR replied to LilBeaver's topic in Watering Hole
Once in a while. Particularly if I have less than a 1/4 tank of fuel. Happened to me today after the bike has sat for over a week. Once I got going, the low fuel indicator was on, but the fuel gauge went up to 2 bars. I reset it back to the ODO position and after riding about 20 miles it clicked on again (for real). I went another 20 miles and then filled it up with 4.2 gals (RSTD 5 gallon tank). -
http://www.leftlanenews.com/honda-v4.html new Honda V4 1200cc sportbike with automatic transmission. I like the way it looks and the engineering.

A couple members have cut the heel half off the shifter, and just used the toe. The shifter does have an adjustment on it you may also want to play with.

Yep, sun is out now. I'm going to take the RSTD out for a short spin. However, weather report is for the rain to move back in later this afternoon and continue thru the weekend....

There's a poll up by Squidley which makes it sound like Potato Creek in Indiana, USA is the choice for the IR (at least eastern IR). Since the IR is only going to be a few hours away from Freebird's, it seems to make sense to me to have the IR the week before or after June 19th (MD). What do you think?

How do you guys do it????
RandyR replied to badluck73's topic in Royal Star and Royal Star Tour Deluxe Tech Talk
At 55 mph I get 42 mpg. But it starts to fall off as speed increases above that. At 80mph it starts to get down below 35mpg. I haven't adjusted my carb's floats yet, which I may do as a winter project. -
Its tapered off to only a light rain this morning....

Sounds like a good trip. Increasing the forward lighting may be counterproductive in some cases. While you want to be able to see the deer, those that get blinded by the light may be even more random in their actions than normal. You didn't say whether or not you have driving lights or fog lights on your RSV. Of course there's a sizable list of lighting upgrades/changes members have done to their 2nd gens. I've bought a set of the driving lamps to add to my RSTD, and am going to try some high intensity yellow LED H3 replacements as combo fog lights/driving lights. That will be my #1 attempt to increase forward lighting and help in the all to frequent fog situations.

www.brewracingframes.com/id75.htm What he's saying is that tig welding (or other high heat sources) can cause brake cleaner (and maybe other cleaners) left on parts to become poisonous gases. In his case phosgene which is one of the poisonous gases used in WWI to kill or disable large numbers of soldiers.
