from memory, 1/6 quart fills the rear gear pumpkin. Clymer book says 200cc Get your Honda Moly60 at a Honda automotive service/parts counter (once in a bluemoon a MC dealer will have it).

I just got back from Moto400 and Triumph Demo Days. I test rode three different models of the 900cc air cooled twin. Bonneville SE Bonneville America T100 The cruiser seat on the America was very comfy but I think I liked the Bonneville SE best of all. Very good handling, although I think the T100 has a slightly lower gear ratio (and larger spoke wheels). Randy

Servicing rearend/driveshaft... ??
RandyR replied to JonnyQuest's topic in Royal Star and Royal Star Tour Deluxe Tech Talk
As has been already said, Its an easy 15 minute job to drain and refill the rear end of these bikes. left saddle bag off makes it easier, but its not mandatory. Keep a slight left lean on the bike to keep the old oil off the tire. no lift/jack required. There is an excellant artice in the 2nd gen tech FAQs on lubing the the drive shaft and rear wheel pins, which you likely want to do as soon as possibleto get some fresh grease on your machine. Thats more work and will require a lift and removing the rear wheel. -
Its a good deal if you plan to keep it. I think I saw a 0 miles 2006 on ebay in Arkansas recently.

I had my water heater go out recently. It was a Rudd 40 gallon natural gas that was out of warranty. My house was built in 1992, so I got 18 years out of it. I've bought a Sears water heater with 12 year warranty, which I need to get installed. I put one in my previous house so know it isn't all that difficult, I'll probably just need a flexible gas pipe and some pipe putty to hook it up as the water in/outs are already flexible copper. The cast iron gas pipe doesn't quite line up to the new heater. I've been taking cold showers which is probably good for conserving water...

Mark, OK, good idea. I want to be certain of making the 900 mile trip home without problems.

Do not park under electrical wires? I wonder why (from a tire point of view)?

The seller has to clear the title on it, so I won't have it for a couple weeks, until after maintenance day at your place. Too bad, because I have a feeling just about everything is going to need to be taken apart, lubed properly, new fluids, check brakes, new brake and clutch fluid, etc. I'm thinking I will pick it up on Saturday April 24th. need to coordinate with the seller.

If you read the Seafoam web site, it was origonally developed as an -additive- for outboard motors burning whitegas (or naptha or coleman fuel, etc).

I'd be up for a ride to Augusta to visit with Paul. Anyone else interested in this? Maybe hear if he's strong enough to have visitors.
