  5. I had one of the Norinco 1911's which I bought a long time ago for a very good price. It was very well made and as accurate as the Colt 1911's. I recall a few competition shooters had them made up into target/race guns.
  6. If I recall, there was a Factory ECO on the 2007's for improperly torqued head bolts from the factory. I can only recall one instance of this being an issue. But something to be aware of.

  16. A good locksmith can make the key for you from the keycode. In fact, keys made that way are better than ones made using the common key copy machine found in most hardware stores. And, despite what the ebay ad says, there is an all metal blank available, albeit, without the yamaha logo or black plastic head. There's a thread here somewhere that has the correct blank (non-Yamaha) part number. edit. From my spare key. ILCO X248 YM63 edit2: Ilco ym63, Taylor X 248, Curtis yn 63, Silca yh35r.

  24. The Clymer manual for my Vulcan 900 shows recommended maintenance up to 30,000 miles, and no mention of replacing the belt, just check and adjust if necessary. Here's a thread on a Victory forum where there was a poll taken on how long a belt lasted. http://www.victoryforums.com/36-victory-tech-performance-section/130946-how-many-miles-your-belt.html There were a number of riders claiming 100,000 miles.
