1999 ignitor; 2 or 3 plugs?
RandyR replied to thoward's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
I don't know, but if I wanted to know, I would look at the parts breakdowns for the different years on bikebandit.com. Some of the drawings also have revision info. -
http://randyrick.us/img/ChristmasMoose.gif Merry Christmas to you and Charlene, It looks like its going to be a white Christmas. It starting snowing here in Dahlonega about an hour ago, and there's almost an inch of the stuff on the ground already.

Would anyone here feel 100% comfortable buying a used motorcycle from someone who says he hasn't done this piece of recommended maintenance on a high mileage bike?

Maybe water in the float bowls? Are you using seafoam in the gas? I presume you're keeping the battery on a trickle charger of some kind? What do the plugs look like?

Good advice and observations Don. btw I like the Daddario EXP's also. I use EXP12 medium gauge. Your EXP11's should be regular light gauge with a .012 high E string. These are coated 80/20 bronze strings. The other EXP's for guitar are the EXP17 and EXP18 which are made of phosphor bronze. PB bronze has a slightly different tone, and they do seem to last slightly longer, but I like the brighter tone of the 80/20 bronze better.

quite an adventure. You'll see more of North America than many of us have ever seen.

Y'all just need to make sure Annie and Quickstep aren't too tired out to party when they get to Oberlin.

Welcome Chris, Don't be intimidated by the 4 carbs, they are easy to balance, and thats one of the more popular items for discussion here, along with which of several styles of carb balancers is the best. Hey! we knew you were joining and there's a Technical section already in place with discussion of technical items. And then with a FAQs section which is read-only of the important items. Most of the known issues already have writeups there. The search function also works fairly well for finding specific points of interest. You can also flag threads of interest so you can come back to them later. Looking forward to seeing you at one of our Meet & Eats somewhere down the road.

Nobody has guessed Australia yet. So my next guess is, you're going to ride around with Annie and Quickstep then ship your bike to Australia so you can ride there after Cody.

I guess Tierra del Fuego. The ultimate southern ride.
