Thats a good machine you got there, I owned it before Kenny and I bought it from a member in Tennessee. Kenny has done a lot of work to it and it runs like a scalded cat...enjoy your new ride!!

That was a big factor in deciding to purchase the house, the 2 1/2 acres, quiet location and the closest neighbor is 1000' away...here's another reason (pics below) It will be turned into a studio apt for when company comes over to spend some time

Andy, The '86 to '93 bags and chrome pieces are totally different, they will not fit with the '83 to '85 saddlebags. For further clarification, folks will comment on the 1st gens, which is what yours is considered, in 2 categories. The MKI is the '83 to '85 1200 cc years and a MKII is the '86 to '93 1300 cc years. As far as bling some will fit all years and some wont, ask if you are unsure. I'm not positive on the floorboards, but I believe they will fit all the years. I would caution against them as there have been a few cases of the case breaking by the shifter shaft as they put a lot of stress in that area and didn't have a very good design on them.....enjoy the site, there is months worth of reading here. -

Just here.... I tried Kevlar pads and unlike Dingy, I didn't care for them. Perhaps it was the brand of pad which I used (which I can't remember the mfgr), but I didn't like the feel and how much I had to get into the brakes. My style of riding and how I expect the brakes to feel and the input I have to give to achieve the results that I want is what turned me off from them. I 99% of the time go with the EBC HH sintered pads as I like how they feel and perform. I have yet to wear out a set of rotors, but if the price is good, buy them and try them for yourself.

As I always do, I look to you, and wish you a Happy Birthday, for this is the reason we celebrate this day. 2011 years ago today you came into this world, and forever changed it. I also want to thank you, thank you for all the blessings I have today, all the people here on this tiny website that make my life much more full. I ask that you continue to bless them, and my family with them. These people are the family I have chosen for myself, and many of them are as kin to me as my own flesh and blood. Thank you for our lives, for the chance to share with each other, and for continuing to believe in us.....Happy Birthday Jesus
