  1. If memory serves me correct, a 7/8" holesaw on a 18" 1/4" drill bit. There's 2 baffle plates in the HD mufflers. Drill the back one out 1st and see how you like the sound. If you want it a bit louder, drill the front one out.
  2. Drill the baffles out and they will sound much better without being obnoxious. I've had a set on my RSV for about 4 years now.
  3. Rob, It would be a bit more helpful if you clarify what tube you're talking about and it's location. 1st thing I'll ask is how full is your oil sight glass?
  4. I bought mine when Yamaha offered it as an accessory. I believe I paid around $30 for it. I've had it several years and it shows it. Nancy at Aces High is a hand crafted piece and will last a lifetime.
  5. You could do that, or just get some thin rubber sheet to place under the D ring base to keep the 2 dissimilar metals from touching. Use stainless bolts and allow well with the world 👍
  6. As far as tie-downs, I would bolt steel D rings through the cross frame braces and not give another thought to it.
  7. 1 step at a time brother Philippians 1:6 6) being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
  8. This is on the cheap redneck side, but the foam bottom of a coozie will fit right over the top of the gas cap. I have a leather one on mine, but it was around $30.
  9. That was cold blooded Ben! but it was funny 😄
  10. As far as I know they don't make a HD for the front. You'll be fine with the std. on the front and HD on the rear. I really like the 777s.
  11. I'll try to remember when I get home to take a few picks.
  12. There are quite a few Christians here, and some of the best people I know of.
  13. Sounds like an epic trip, glad you were able to do it and enjoyed it as much as you did 👍
  14. WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!?
  15. Heavenly Father, Lord we humbly come to you on behalf of our brother Dennis. You know all that happened with him and what he's going through right now. We ask for 1st of all your healing power in his body, we also ask for the peace that only you can give for him and his family. As it says in Matthew 18:19-20 19) “Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. 20) For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” Lord we ask for peace and healing in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior....Amen.
  16. Thank you for the kind words Steve, and you other brothers. I have tried to live my life to treat people how I would like to be treated. I'm just happy that the items will go to someone who can use them 👍
  17. Welcome Chris, You might want to check into a Works or a Hagon shock for your bike. I've heard about someone who has rebuilt the stock shock, but I'm not sure on who that is.
  18. Welcome back to the great Republic of Texas!
  19. What about that Canadian vernacular eh!?
  20. How are they holding up? I take it that the coil is all contained in each one of the caps without the use of a separate coil body?
  21. No worries brother, the door is always open here in Shepherd Texas for you. That's awesome about meeting your son!
  22. I've been searching a bit, trying to find a thread or post of anyone who has replaced their coil or coils with something aftermarket. I still think I have an intermittent coil issue. I wouldn't mind replacing coils, but looking for a more reasonable option than mamayama. Has anyone got some input if they've done something like this?
  23. A '91 we would refer to as a 1st gen MKII. '83 thru '85 are the original 1200cc motor (MKI) '86 thru '93 are the 1300cc motor and a body style change (MKII)
  24. We have had a saying here at VRO, plan it, and they will come. Give plenty of notice on the date so folks can work their schedules. If 1 other rider shows up, it's a success 👍
