  1. Sounds like a tough week sorry to hear of it all and I must have been asleep with your brother. Hopefully you can put it behind you and start to have an even keel to be on. Our condolences to your family.
  2. You bet, she's a keeper for sure I just dont know how a guy like "You" landed her She must have felt sorry for you
  3. Where is it located at Clay
  4. Thanks for all you have done with this Bruce, we'll have to play it by ear and see what shakes out. Hopefully we'll be able to join you folks afterwards.
  5. Here's another one of the 3 of us along the northern shore of Lake Erie.
  6. Steve, If you have a Paypal account, you can send something through it to Russell (Black owl)
  7. Now I know why I am getting all the PM's and emails about Gremlin Bells What we have is the Platnum Hooter, it is Russell's hair (Black Owl) that was chopped off several years back. I suppose you could say it wards off evil spirits
  8. Absolutely not! They are interesting but I'm still the same ahole I ever was. I appreciate your looking at them, but I just have a bigger mouth and follow through with things. I ain't nobody special...and once everyone meets me, they figure it out
  9. That was very good of her, I'm still dealing with Leslie's passing and I'm seriously thinking about a petition on changing the age requirement to get a DL

    My Best Friend

Eck, That is the Irish Tombstone prayer...I post it up when tragedies hit close to home. If anyone would like a copy of it PM me and I'll email it out. Zill...sorry to hear about your friend, with Leslie Nantais passing away last week I too know how you feel
  11. Well.... My wife and I put on 725 in a 25 hour period yesterday But we have pushed 800 miles in a day a couple of times, those aren't real fun
  12. Here are some pics that I found of the 2 of them.
  13. Thanks for keeping us updated Bruce. Still reeling from this, I just cant get my mind off of it. I just wish there was something other than pray that I could do
  14. John....You have a PM in your box
  15. I am numb..... I dont know what to say, but feel that I need to say something. Gary and Leslie are good friends of ours, as we have spent many times riding and sharing an evening dinner with them. The tears flow for your loss my friend, I truly wish there were words that took the pain away...but there are none. I'm having a hard time thinking right now, so I'll end this with We love you Buddy
  16. We appreciate that
  17. Thanks Wil, Thats a good place to take it, it doesn't need to be here
  18. I've been fortunate enough to not hit anything major. That being said I would like to think that I wouldn't try to avoid it. Once you take the bike out of a strait path you will not have any control of it. Hit whatever strait on and you stand a better chance of keeping the bike upright. I do believe that the most important thing would be keep your head in the game. Keep thinking and reacting to how the bike is responding, you might be surprised that the bike would stay up for a good time.
  19. I'd love to hate you Gary....but you are my buddy and I'm very envious You 2 have a great time and I hope all the colors are peak for you
  20. I have had 4 Ventures, 2 1st gens and 2 RSV's, they are a great machine. As far as what you should get, thats all up to how you intend to ride. If your into long distance touring, the RSV is probably the best bet. If shorter jaunts are your thing, and the sterio isn't a big deal then a Tour Deluxe might work well. It's all in what you plan on doing....good luck with your choice
  21. Definitely sounds like a good day Thanks for posting it, our time up north here is growing short and we'll have to live vicariously through other folks rides over the winter
  22. To answer your question, I dont know why the weight is in there But I did remove mine as I think they are ugly as sin. I like the look way better without them. I have had no adverse effects by their being gone, I also haven't noticed any squealing of the front brake either. BVinson has them removed also on his bike, hopefully he'll chime in on his experiences with them off. I would leave them off if you dont care for them, you can always put them back on at a later date if you wish
  23. What are you asking for it Bull??
  24. Damn! I want to show up and have some of those fixins Good to hear he's out and about, we still have to see you folks again real soon....perhaps around the holidays
