  1. Dont be alarmed, these engines dont run good oil pressure. I have seen at an idle when they are warm a gauge read zero. This is why I dont run a gauge on mine as I dont want to freak out everytime I look at it
  2. Rooster, I'll give the usual 1 set of R/K brackets and 1 pr of the 1st gen Driving light brackets.
  3. I feel your frustration Russ, the majority of those folks couldn't find their way out of a bag with 2 openings in it. And these are the kinds of folks that elect world leaders...you are right, this country is doomed
  4. Just making it harder and more of an aggrivation to cross over. I have to believe their thinking is by making it harder, less folks are going to cross in either direction.....but not this kid
  5. Damn Jeff! I'm starting to feel like Charlie now
  6. I would say no, it wont hurt anything. I know with my hotrods in the winter I would block them up and keep the tires off the ground. The tire will thank you and all your doing is extending the shock to it's end, which it's designed for.
  7. I'd like to drive one and see what they're like
  8. I am surprised that they even came out with an '08 model. I have said it here before that the current platform of the G2 is on numbered days
  9. I'll be interested to see how you like it after using it for a while....looks cool
  10. Dont you start to stir the pot on me
  11. That looks real good Gene Now as far as a pink laced one for me.....I'll pass
  12. Jeff, If you can't find one through the site, let me know and I'll make you one like I did on mine. It's just a piece of 3/4" aluminum cut to size drilled and tapped.
  13. But he speaks the truth, I dodged the step children and grandchildren yesterday. We had a nice quiet Dinner with Lonnas mom....that was very nice JT...Yes, I could understand why some eat their young
  14. Those sound like the best wishes anyone could ask for Happy Thanksgiving everyone
  15. Absolutely...Let me go turn my phone on
  16. The chrome eyebrows that I am talking about are on the upper front fairing at a 45 degree angle from the headlight.
  17. I would agree with Muffin, in that the connection plug from the stator is dirty. Mine went bad on me as I was leaving work 1 day and I had to strip and splice the wires together to make it home. I have since soldered them together and sealed them up.
  18. Jim, From 1 vet to another, thank you for your sacrifise and being away from your family during the holiday...God bless you brother Semper Fi
  19. It can't go across the border without a return addy if it's sent from the USA...I know this from experience. Obviously it must have been sent from Canada....but who there likes you
  20. Todd, The ride on is a pre-treatment, it doesn't work well after the fact. Even though I believe that the site says you can remove the nail, but I personally would leave the nail in, unless it was in a questionable spot. I did the same test when I was seeing how the ride-on worked and when I removed the screw it all came out. But when the screw was in it didn't loose any air
  21. Steve, Your post reminds me of why we do this, good on ya both Happy Thanksgiving
  22. Might that be DeBerry east Texas??? perhaps a certain ambassador...paybacks for a couple of beers in the summer
  23. I hate to say it, but they are brotherhooding to their friend so it doesn't go on his record. I wont even get started on it as it will go south fast. Sorry to hear of the whole deal, group riding can be fun, but it's a lot of work. There are many times that I just enjoy riding with folks that I know well or just being solo.
  24. Sounds logical....but it doesn't work. They really use good adhesive to put them on. The eyebrows on the front fairing are even worse to get off
  25. Hopefully he'll join up with us and we'll have another LDR (Long Distance Rider) with us....Way to stalk him down
