Well I sure as hell wished you would come up here JT ....and yes I have been duped!! Unbenounced to me, my wife and some certain Texans orchestrated a secret Meet and Eat. I have to admit it was a total surprise to me as I had no idea. There will be pics and stories to come of it...stay tuned for updates.

Might just have to give them a try, for that price you can't hardly go wrong. I like Lynn's question also about hooking them up to the bike.

It's good to know that you all appreciate the fact that I didn't eat all the ice cream As far as the HD....we'll keep you guessing Did I mention it's going to be almost 70 in Houston today Life is good and I'm really enjoying this vacation, I'm actually relaxing a bit...Go figure

Something that I noticed with the smaller front tire is your at the mercy of the wind even more. I had the smaller front on my 2nd '99 and going across Nebraska in the wind it really pushed me around. Right now I'm with the stock size and leveling links, seems much more stable when it's windy.

FINALLY!!!!!!:banana: After almost 9 weeks of not being on the scoot Allan H and I took our bikes for a nice hour + ride on some great twisties here in St. Charles and around. The weather was cold, about 40 degrees, but perfectly sunny. I cant tell you all how good it felt after all that it took to make it to this point. So to Denden for all his help with my carbs and Lumberjack 49 for the use of his enclosed trailer....Thank you. I wouldn't have made it this far without your generosity. You both helped Allan give me one of the best Christmas eve's I have ever had

Thanks Dan and I will take you up on doing the front running on it. We'll make it happen 1 way or the other -
I have installed a few aircraft vents in various windshields of folks on the site. They do work nice and are inexpensive. I will put this out the GW vent is a PIA to install in a windshield. I did one on Charlies old '86 and it wasn't fun. It can be done, but make sure that you have the right tools and LOTS of paitence to do it.
